Absolutely phenomenal stay at Janine’s place. The condo is gorgeous, AC works well, the bikes and golf cart (rental) are super convenient. Communication with the host was absolutely perfect. Location was an easy walk to resort properties, short ride to town. We loved it, would stay here again.

Stunning rental. We had the entire top level and it was amazing. Highly recommend! The area is gorgeous and the people are great. They have two units on the bottom floor as well so three total chances to stay here. We will definitely return!!

This is my go to for stays in Hopkins. The experience is always consistent. Whenever I bring a guest, they also have a great stay. The one thing that this place needs is for me to be there longer. Hopefully, I'll be back soon. ☺️

Janine was super responsive and friendly. Location was great and we were pleasantly surprised that Lodge at Jaguar Reef right in front of Airbnb.

Great place to stay for me, my wife, amd three teenagers. Set up as two private bedrooms with King beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. Great AC and fans. Loved the location and ability to access Jaguar Reef Resort (very friendly staff) beach, pools, restaurants, amd dock. Hope to be back someday soon.

This spot was an absolute gem! Perfect location close to the beach & good food spots. The property was super clean. Also, the AC was so cold & it had hot water, which are both rare amenities in Belize! Janine was very helpful with all of our questions & quick to respond. I would absolutely book here again. Highly recommend.

Janine was a great host and responsive to all messages before and during the trip. The location of the property is central to restaurant and we loved having access to the amenities at the Jaguar resort across the street. The property is pristine and appears to be newly built, with all the comforts of home and more. I stayed here with my family and it was more than enough room for us, including a couch bed in the living room and very comfortable beds in both rooms. The showers are large, the ACs cool each room quickly, and the kitchen was well stocked. The host provided a few welcome beers and snacks, as well as bikes to use during our stay. The patio and yard spaces were both well-furnished and peaceful, our kids enjoyed especially enjoyed having the freedom to hang on the patio during the rain. There is designated parking for each unit, and aside from seeing other guest in passing we felt like the only ones staying there. We look forward to returning to our Hopkins home!

I’m not really sure why this property does not have five stars because it is definitely worthy of it. I slept so good that I woke up and thought I was at home, this place was awesome. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot, the place was so clean, it was convenient, and I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful place. Comfortable bed and couch. Lovely outdoor seating. Close to beach and restaurants. Kind staff and neighbors.

This is a beautiful place. The finishes and furnishings are lovely, and it is either brand new or carefully maintained. The location is hard to beat. The pools are just a few steps away, and the restaurants close by are delicious. I would love to stay here again. Janine was super helpful and responsive--exactly what you hope for from a host.

So this place went beyond my expectations. It's a beautifully designed space with high ceilings (we had the entire upstairs appt.) so we always felt it was spacious. It's sturdy and quiet - especially during a rain storm that flooded next door. It's a great location if you are looking for a quiet getaway - the resort was very accommodating across the street and since there was a lull the week before Christmas - it felt like we had the beach almost to ourselves most of the time. This was a very special visit reuniting with our son after 8 months and won't see him again for another 8 months. We could all relax and he was a bit spoiled with ac and great showers. We did rent a cart for 2 days to haul groceries and water but the bikes in back were a great way to get around. We saw a dolphin while paddle boating, loved seeing the sunrise from the dock watching the pelicans dive for breakfast, saw manta rays, and even got in an island hopping trip to snorkel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Big Bamboo Villa. The place is beautifully maintained and well appointed. It is located on a quiet dead end street. Enjoyed sitting on the front deck with a view of the sea. The back deck has a territorial view inland. Walk across the street to the beach or the pool at Jaguar Reef Resort. Short walk to several excellent restaurants. Used the bicycles to explore the local area. The Jaguar Reef Resort housekeeping/maintenance facility is located next door with noticeable foot traffic and activity. All considered, we would definitely stay there again!
