The place and the location were very good. We only had a little problem with the charger, but they fixed it for us.

Wonderful stay at Villa Mina! Jonathan was friendly, accommodating, & responsive. The best part was how dog-friendly it is! BIG backyard, lots to sniff, and fully fenced (we have 2 escape artists and they didn't find a single hole to slip thru). Most noteworthy is there's NO hot water. I don't recommend for families w/ children, teenagers, or those sensitive to cold water. There was a cold front during our stay so we had to muster up courage (or boil water in pots) before showering. Upon re-checking the listing, "no hot water" is shown at the very bottom - which we missed when first read through. On the hot mornings/days, the AC in each bedroom worked perfectly! It's located along the main road so there is some noise pollution at all hours of the day/night from cars and trucks. Common areas are comfortable and equipped with all the basic necessities. Overall great place & we recommend!

Very good location for Cahuita and Puerto Viejo, house with everything you need, Jonathan is attentive

It looks better in person than in photos, spacious and safe space for pets, it has a cabin that contains two bathrooms, a bedroom and living room/dining room/kitchen; as well as a separate room (outside the cabin) with a bathroom. The place is safe, quiet and close (by car) to supermarkets and beaches. The host is attentive, responds quickly to needs, but also has clear instructions on the door of the house. It must be considered that in the presence of many people in the area, water is scarce and a tank available in the house must be used, which must be rationed. As a comment for improvement, the separate room smelled a lot of dust and humidity, so it was not appropriate to sleep in it, mainly because of allergies. In addition, some sheets and pillows also had this smell. This could be solved by improving ventilation inside the room and washing the sheets more frequently. Otherwise, everything is perfect. Yes, I would come back to this house!
