Tadora

This was a great airbnb. We loved the close proximity to La Fortuna/El Salto and other activities. It's also wonderful to just relax at. The kids loved the pool and slide while we hung out in the hammocks at the Ranchero. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. We cooked multiple meals in the kitchen and it was not only stocked with basic utensils, but possibly overstocked! We also did loads of laundry and the more traditional washing machine was efficient and flexible. We had a little concern with the hot water heaters that Tadora addressed immediately with a friendly troubleshooting phone conversation. The local kitty came to visit. And there are fruit trees on property that Tadora offered to us if ready. We enjoyed a fresh and sweet pineapple. As noted with some reviews, there is a courtyard area that each of the bedrooms and kitchen/living room open up to. Think of it as a giant (outdoor)family room instead of "seperate" houses that are around it.

The location is peaceful with a great, fully fenced yard and a view of the Arenal volcano. We were a bit concerned about the bedrooms only being accessible by outside doors, but our grandkids (8 & 12) had no issues with the set up. The outdoor area is awesome with lots of seating and a decent sized pool and water slide. The hosts are very responsive and gave Juan helped us book a coffee and chocolate tour. Thanks Juan!

Tadora’s place was perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the pool and the layout with the outdoor sitting area was perfect. Tadora was very responsive and resolved all of our questions very quickly. Would highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Tadora’s place was perfect for our family of 6. The house was very clean, the pool and outdoor area was beautiful and very enjoyable, and Tadora was extremely responsive with any questions we had. We all also enjoyed Juan’s private tours and butterfly dome!

Very quiet place, a lot of privacy, 20 minutes from La Fortuna, easy to get to

We(family of 5) have stayed in many Airbnbs and this one was the best! The house is about 15 min from La Fortuna in a remote area but we never felt unsafe. A few neighbors and a mini-super about 3 minute drive away. Indoor: Great kitchen with all of the amenities we needed. GREAT filtered water that will save you time and $ instead of going to one of the markets. The bedrooms were separated so you have to go outside to get to the kitchen and other bedrooms but this was not an issue for us at all. Bathrooms were excellent and clean. Shower water was warm and comfortable. Outdoor: This is the best part of the house. Tall fence surrounds the house that gives you privacy and security. The pool is excellent. Our kids swam a ton! Also, the outdoor kitchen is excellent. Great couch seating area, dining and bar area with a TV. Juan the caretaker is excellent. Be sure to take his butterfly and sloth tours! He is very passionate about his work. Pura vida! Stay here people.

First and foremost, the house is clean and secure. The house is exactly as described except I don’t remember reading that it is three separate rooms. As an American I had not seen this set up before. This may be important if you have young kids. My 9 year old didn’t want to sleep in a completely separate “house”. The yard and pool is beautiful. The area is quiet but still close to all the activities we did. I would recommend staying here. We enjoyed hanging out in the living area playing board games and having dinner. The place is small though so there aren’t enough chairs to sit and eat at a kitchen table or counter.

Peaceful remote location away from town, of La Fortuna, near the end of a dead end gravel road, so you will need a car. The indoor and outdoor space perfect for families with a beautiful pool area and outdoor living area with kitchen, fans and lots of sitting space. Kitchen has everything, just bring food and drinks. Beautiful yard with flowers and birds. Pura Vida! Communication with host was very easy and quickly responds. Her co host Juan was very resourceful for tours.

This private, Walt compound is perfect for a getaway. Having two separate bedrooms with separate doors and kitchen/living room with another separate door was amazing. The courtyard is beautiful the lawn and the trees and the birds are beautiful and the pool was fantastic as well as the covered pool house. A little slice of heaven. You may want to consider having a car with a little bit of clearance to get up the driveway. But otherwisereally thrilled with the stay.
