We loved it! Perfect for going with a group of friends. Super close to the beach. The open kitchen and the large social area with games. Super-fast response from the host. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Ginny’s place for 7 nights with a large group that included two young children. We had a blast at the pool, relaxing in the outdoor living spaces, and exploring Playa Avellana. Ginny and her co hosts are incredibly helpful, responsive, and were sure to take care of anything that popped up during the stay. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful place

My family of 10 spent Christmas here. It’s a lovely half mile walk to the beach where you will see birds and monkeys and iguanas. We felt safe and enjoyed seeing wildlife and surfing at the beach.

We had an amazing stay with 12 kids/teenagers at Casa Uluwatu for our twins birthday party. The open living space, the very well stocked kitchen, the amazing pool, the comfy beds, the proximity to the beach…everything was perfect!Ginny the host has been extremely friendly, flexible and easy to communicate with. Beautiful house in one of the most beautiful beaches in Guanacaste! Very spacious house for big groups with a fantastic pool and shared areas for celebrating special events or just enjoying some time in the beach! Would definitely go back.

What a perfect place for our family of 10. The pictures really don't do it justice - it felt like we were at a resort! We had plenty of room to spread out between the different casitas and the beautiful palapa was a great place to relax, play cards or prepare a wonderful meal to share. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had everything we needed. The pool was a great way to cool off after the day's activities! The area was quiet and away from the crowds of Tamarindo which was certainly close enough if needed. There were a handful of restaurants walkable (our favorite was Il Rustico) from the house along with the beach. Surfboard rentals were easy and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed several days surfing. We would absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful house, we all enjoyed the palapa and the pool;very good location close to the beach and grocery stores; everything worked without novelty, Bathrooms, a/c, kitchen, cooling etc. Parking for 3 and up to 4 carts without problem Miguel immediately took care of us with everything we asked for, great

This was the perfect place! The grounds are gorgeous, the pool and fountain beautiful, and there's plenty of space for a family of seven to spread out. The pièce de résistance, of course, is the central palapa. This is where we gathered, lounged, cooked and played. The location was perfect for us. While the walk to the beach is maybe a few minutes longer than advertised, that wasn't a problem. Playa Avellana is beautiful, swimmable, and has some shady spots for refuge. Also right on the beach are three restaurant/bars, including one (Lola's) that reserves lounge chairs and umbrellas for the day. Miguel, the manager, was a rockstar and helped out right away with a few minor issues. Ginny's recommendations were perfect and so helpful! Roxana cooked two delicious meals for us, and Miguel's cousin, Elmer, took us on a hike to a waterfall where we could swim. While the neighborhood is quiet, the town of Tamarindo is only 25 minutes away by car. We are grateful for our stay here!

What a lovely place to vacation! We enjoyed this little town and the house was perfect for a getaway. You can walk several directions and within 15 minutes be at the beach or have your choice of several really great restaurants. We had 7 kids in our group and everyone had fun. The beach is so lovely - compact sand, no seaweed or rocks. What a memorable trip!

Great place for a large group. In a quiet area with close access to beach. Very responsive and helpful host. Just be mindful the area is not super close to any grocery stores/shops so can be difficult to access without a car. Would recommend!
