This place was very peaceful, and felt very cozy. The river and rain made for natural white noise so it was very pleasant. Jose and other front desk employees were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back if I have a chance!

The place is very quiet, on the riverbank, but you should keep in mind that the common areas are shared with other people and not everyone is as quiet and peaceful. The parking lot is a bit far from the rooms, and it is essential to bring a raincoat, umbrella, or parasol. It's gratifying to sleep to the lullaby of the river and the rain falling on the roof. There was a small problem with the toilet's cleanliness, but it was resolved instantly. It was not possible to use the pools or swim in the river pools due to the heavy rains in La Fortuna, but on hot days it will be a plus for the guests. The Wi-Fi signal is not as strong in the rooms, perhaps because the router is located in the reception area. Please note that the bathroom and shower do not have doors, so the adjacent areas may get a little dirty.

The cabins are very nice and quiet. There is a river nearby. Unfortunately, it rained and we could not enjoy the amenities. The pool water is cold. In general, everything is fine.

Perfect location if you are looking to connect with nature in a private peaceful space. River access was great!!! Very close to town in car only 7 minutes. Soda & small store very close. I extended my stay a day because La Fortuna was so amazing. Note: parking is not by cabin so always have an umbrella. Bug spray! Kitchen has no basic items like oil or salt/pepper so bring some. Nightlife is animals are very loud. But that’s what to expect in the jungle.

What a fantastic place! Truly a wonderful jungle cottage! Very quiet (there were few other guests) and, in any case, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by nature next to a small river. Beautifully maintained garden. Truly a great place to stay. I could have stayed here for another week!

I 100% recommend Cabañas Río Escondido. It’s surrounded by nature and so so peaceful. Silvia was excellent in helping me find a local place to ear at when it was already dark out and I didn’t want to go too far. There is this local restaurant and mini market about 6 minutes walking from the cabanas. Area seems safe. I had a great experience there!!

The place was just as described in the photos, I definitely highlight Nicol's attention (the receptionist) received me, he gave me recommendations for activities in the place, he made contact for me to order food to the place, he showed me absolutely all the spaces I could use... It was definitely super friendly and warm his treatment.

Awesome place to stay in La Fortuna. Far enough from the hustle & bustle of La Fortuna center but close enough to get there in short time (even on foot). The room was very nice and had everything I needed. The property is big and very well maintained. The river & the pool were very nice for refreshing dips during the day! The big grass field great for sunbathing & chilling. No complaints about this place, highly recommend!
