We had a wonderful weekend at The Crystal House. Everything is exactly as shown in the photos! The house is nice, spacious, fresh and very well equipped. The beds and pillows are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are too. It has an incredible view of nature, and in the background you can see the city. It's really a 10/10. Thank you, Agustín, for your kindness and prompt attention both in the booking process and during the stay.
The house is beautiful, and the place is very special to go to rest.
This place is as beautiful as the pictures make it out to be. Set in the mountains outside of the Panama City (roughly 1 hour from Casco Viejo) you are able to enjoy the solitude without being too far from the city. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching local wildlife. The place is well stocked and it was a pleasure to stay there. The owners were very responsive and would communicate to make sure everything was to our pleasure. Our only minor issue was that of the 5 of us there, a few ladies smelled a musty smell in a couple rooms (the house is in a rain forest I believe, so can only imagine that it can be difficult to not have a little bit). We opened the windows in those rooms and that seemed to eliminate the issue. All-in-all, an amazing trip and this house was a large part of it. We would definitely rent this again.

Crystal House is truly one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking views and the peaceful connection with nature. The house has absolutely everything you need to have an unforgettable time, whether it’s cooking a great meal, enjoying a BBQ, relaxing in the hammock with a book, or simply admiring the stars at night. This place feels magical. Every corner invites you to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy the beauty around you. A special thank you to Agustin, an incredible host who was always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. His hospitality made our stay even more special. We are deeply grateful for this experience and will definitely come back to this little paradise, especially since it’s only 50 minutes away from Panama. Highly recommended!
Our experience was absolutely spectacular. The house is exactly as shown in the photos, beautiful and truly stunning. The views are incredible: on clear days you can even see the skyscrapers of Panama City, and when it’s rainy and cloudy, the atmosphere becomes incredibly cozy. The two fire pit areas are amazing and make it the perfect place to relax, whether it’s reading a book, enjoying a glass of wine, having a barbecue, or playing board games. During our stay in Cerro Azul, we explored some hiking trails, visited a local brewery, and spent time by the lake. It was honestly a very complete and memorable weekend. The house is a solid 10/10, and we would 100% come back.

It's the best Airbnb place I've ever stayed. The house is simply beautiful; it is quiet, cozy, and looks like something out of a magazine; it is exactly as shown in the photos. The weather at night is delightful. It has an amazing view surrounded by nature, and we had the chance to see some monkeys and peccaries that came close in the morning. It has everything you need so you don't have to go out: cleaning and personal care products, towels, sheets, blankets, coffee maker, Air Fryer, gas BBQ with tools, smart TV, Wi-Fi, games, stove, pots, pans, cutlery, etc. The fire pit downstairs was magical, with a stunning view of the city and patio lights. The instructions were clear, Agustín was very friendly, and he responded quickly. We recommend it 100% and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful house in an amazing place. This house is really a gem, it is probably one of the best equipped houses I have ever stayed in. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, you can watch the clouds pass by and listen to the sounds of nature. Nature is exactly what you get: beware to rent a sturdy car when driving there, the roads are not for the faint hearted and once there, there are essentially no restaurants or supermarkets close by, so it's best to buy groceries before going there. We stayed for two nights and loved it, two thumbs up!
Everything was excellent! The place is beautiful, we felt super comfortable throughout the stay.
Nicely designed place with a lot of thoughtful touches, warm lighting in the bedroom and bright in the kitchen. Great view. Musty smell on walking in, that seemed to be coming from one bathroom in particular. Got better on airing everything out. Two towels in the whole house. Crumbs and hair everywhere, just generally dirty. The host offered to send a cleaner which we were okay with at first. Then we found slime mold growing in the coffee pot and lipstick marks on the cups that were put away. I stepped on the shower drain and got black marks on my feet. At that point we told the host this wasn’t working out, canceled and asked for a refund for the remaining nights. The host ghosted us and refused the refund request. Overall it's a really well designed space outside of the bustle of the city, but very much a "cabin in the woods." I think we got unlucky on some of the cleanliness issues, and it's a bit musty and dusty no matter what.
