We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend this home to other families. The property was beautiful, spacious, clean, and exactly as advertised. It was the perfect home base for our Costa Rica vacation, with plenty of room for multiple families and kids to relax after days spent at the beach, golfing, horseback riding, boating, and exploring the area. Communication with Alejandro was excellent from start to finish. He was responsive, helpful, and made check-in and the entire stay seamless. The location was ideal for enjoying everything Hacienda Pinilla has to offer, and we especially appreciated how easy it was to access the beach club, restaurants, and nearby activities. We created some incredible family memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for being such a great host!

A true oasis. Pura Vida!

This home was absolutely beautiful, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The local recommendations provided were thoughtful and added so much to our experience. One of our favorite memories was spending late afternoons relaxing by the pool, watching monkeys play in the trees—it was unforgettable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Alejandro’s place is exactly as described. You have access to a private beach and the house was everything the photos showed and more. Alejandro was very communicative and had some great recommendations. Would def come again

Alejandro was incredibly responsive, welcoming, knowledgeable and compassionate. His home was as described. The location is a preference- it's well manicured and easy to navigate. The amenities are great for any age group. The fees for activities varied. horseback riding seemed to have the best value while it's more exciting to enjoy the beaches and Alejandro's home pool then pay for the "beach club HPpool". This host went above and beyond. He accomodated a health issue by creating a special detergent for us in his company's lab. We are big travelers but are often help back bc of lack of access to non hypoallergenic spaces. he turned his place into exactly what we needed on short notice. He checked in on us often. was an incredibly clear communicator. The home had very large rooms. 2 fridges. laundry. en suites. plenty of yards. Thanks for welcoming our family.

Alejandro was an incredible host. He went above and beyond in communication with us about roads, activities, recreation, restaurants we could not have asked for anything more. The house was beautiful beyond what we expected- and as shown in the photos. Loved the simple decor. We cooked dinner half of our meals and had everything we needed to cook. The grill was great we cooked steaks and chicken from the local grocery store - and eating on the large patio on shaded deck at night was wonderful. Each night we enjoyed the 5min walk to beach to watch the sunset around 5:50pm! Loved morning runs on the trails they were great! The private beaches in this gated community were a huge perk! As well as the nice roads and beautiful flowers! As some people might know most things were really expensive in Costa Rica….Our middle school boys rented bikes ($90 for a day) we used the pickleball courts one morning($20 for an hour) surfing lessons for 4 of our teens that we signed up for at the clubho

This villa in Pinilla Tamarindo far exceeded our expectations! The villa itself is top-quality, very well-equipped, and even more spacious than it appeared in the photos. We were thrilled with the location – so close to several beautiful beaches, all just a few minutes away by foot or car. What truly made our stay exceptional was Alejandro, the owner. He was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to help us with every detail, from recommending and booking activities and restaurants to arranging relaxing massage services. He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that house cleaning was included – a fantastic bonus! The villa also came with games, which added to the fun. Alejandro's thoughtful touches, like providing plenty of drinking water and glasses, were much appreciated. This was genuinely one of the best vacations we've ever had (and we've traveled quite a bit!). We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Alejandro’s home was absolutely perfect. It was conveniently situated in Hacienda Pinilla in a community with a beautiful private beach. Alejandro was a great host and made many awesome recommendations. Can’t wait to go back.

This place was amazing it was way nicer than expected. I loved everything about it. It came with lots of water and ice which was super nice. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive. I would 10/10 recommend staying here and renting a car, it was worth the drive to stay there. It’s about 20 minutes from Tamarindo and there’s so many nice beaches in between. And about a 2 hour drive to then rainforest and waterfalls. So grateful that we got to spend 9 days here it was absolutely perfect and the kids loved it too!

Beyond expectations! Wonderful spot with so many options

We loved our stay at Alejandro’s house! The house itself was much bigger and more beautiful than what we expected from the pictures, and it’s location was perfect as it is in one of Hacienda Pinilla’s private residencies that has access to a tucked away beach with natural tide pools. The gardens are very well kept and spacious, and the pool at the house is enormous; ideal for both children to play and adults who like to swim laps. Alejandro was always attentive to any questions we had, and the check in process was effortless. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat!!

We loved our stay at Alejandro's house! The home is new and it shows in the overall cleanliness and minimalism. We were two families of four (two adults and two kids each) and we all had an amazing time here. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The home has two wings - a master bedroom with a queen on one wing and the master with a king, along with both kids rooms in the second wing. Every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, which is very convenient. Bedrooms are all very spacious and the kids loved the identical bunk bed setups in both kids rooms. The pool is amazing and we spent hours in it each day. The shallow area for little kids was much appreciated by my 3-year-old. Alejandro met us at the house for check in to show us around and even took us to the private beach that's a 5-minute walk away. He also provided great recommendations for dinner. The home was stocked with ice, plenty of pool towels, etc. We wouldn't hesitate to return!
