Nice place, very peaceful, pool was perfect, a car would improve your say.

Beautiful location: the pool, the patio, views! There is a bird orchestra at sunrise for a couple of hours and a viewing area from the patio. The kitchen and bathrooms are really clean with fresh towels and everything you could want. The pool was so refreshing! Katia is helpful with every detail. The house has a landscaper living close by with 2 dogs so we felt really safe. We were met by the caretaker and housekeeper who were both so sweet and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for your stay in San Ignacio.

A peaceful respite after busy days exploring! Katias home was beautiful and secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook. Consuelo’s meals of vegetarian tamales and bean and cheese quesadillas sustained us for days! Take advantage of her delicious cooking. It was well worth what we paid and so welcomed after a long day of travel and she is just the loveliest person ever. If you are a birder, you will enjoy this home. From the back deck we saw toucans and an adorable Ferruginous Pygmy Owl who lives in a tree right next to the deck. The walking paths have perfectly situated benches where we sighted aricaris, trogons, parrots and many more! Even if you are not a birder, the relaxing and spacious home is delightful. We would definitely stay again. You do need an adventurous spirit to drive up and down the mountain but it was fun and part of the charm. Our daughter loved the sweet dogs next door and would visit them each morning. Thank you Katia and Consuelo ❤️

Katia is an incredible host. For months she answered questions and guided us on things to do. Consuelo greeted us and cooked dinner the first night which was such a treat and ended up being one of our favorite meals. As a birder, I was thrilled to see so many beautiful species including two types of toucans! While the location is close to many activities, the bumpiness of the road and steepness to get there took a bit of getting used to:). Don’t miss the ATM cave and our favorite restaurants were The Guava Limb Cafe (make a reservation) and Let’s Go Eat. There were dogs that barked at night but a sound machine drowned it out pretty well. We would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful, spacious place with a fantastic host. This place is a dream! The kids loved the pool (not heated so perfect for a hot day), and the bedroom layout was so great for us. There was a playroom, too. All of the decor was really cool and having the washer was indispensable. I used it daily and enjoyed hanging all the clothes on the line outside. So meditative. The place is quiet and has a beautiful view. Consuelo, the caretaker, is so helpful and kind and a great cook if you decide to pay her for a meal or two.

Beautiful, well-decorated house in the jungle, surrounded by a variety of beautiful birds. What more can I say about this perfect house and about Consuelo and her meals! Don't hesitate to try his dishes, each more delicious than the last. We were delighted by the house, by the Belizean food, and by the many activities available in the San Ignacio area! We had an amazing stay! House was private with beautiful views but still close to town. Our group of 6 had plenty of space to spread out and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful house with amazing views and a nice cool breeze. Even better than the pictures! The house is outside the town, so we had to ride the bumpy road about 10 min to get into town, but the tradeoff was the space, views and cool breeze (it always felt much cooler in the house than it did in town). A great place to stay for a family or group who want to relax and enjoy all its amenities.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Everything exceeded our expectations, the communication was seamless from start to finish, the place was spotless, and the view was simply breathtaking. You can really tell how much care and attention goes into hosting. We felt comfortable and welcomed the entire time. And we loved Consuelo so much, she truly made our stay even more special! We would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend staying here!

Perfect place to relax in San Ignacio. Consuelo was very sweet and was there to greet us when we arrived. The view is beautiful, you get to see all kinds of birds at the back patio! Katia was also very friendly and responsive. Overall this is a great place to stay if you’re traveling to Belize!

We had the most wonderful stay at Katia’s place! If you love birds, this is the spot to stay! We got to see an incredible variety of birds without even leaving the home. Katia’s house was clean, spacious and in the perfect location for adventures and places to eat, but off the beaten path enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Could not recommend enough!

Close to everything in town. Amazing view. Katia is very quick to respond Had all the necessities. Tons of very interesting books movies and games. 10/10 would recommend I’ll stay here again too if in San Ignacio!

Katia’s property is delightful and very relaxing and amazing for the variety and ease of spotting birds from the deck. The housekeeper, Consuelo, was so wonderful we wanted to take her home. I would definitely come back for a longer stay.
