Book it without hesitation. Suitable for groups and family as well. Very responsive and proactive host. Stefano had everything set up from our arrival till departure between the drivers golf carts and local recommendations. The pool was very refreshing I was in it every day. The place is clean close to the action and quite enough for some good sleep as well. WiFi super fast and AC and all other amenities in tact. Can’t wait to come back thank you for hosting us.

This place was in a perfect location near everything. Olga was a great concierge and helped us book airport transportation, a golf cart, and at-home massages. Definitely would recommend!

Great spot to stay close to the main area of tamarindo 5 mins from the beach!

The good - the outdoor space is lovely and the pool was very clean and well maintained. As others have mentioned, it’s located up a very steep hill, but we rented a golf cart and had no issues. The inside of the home could use a good clean and some maintenance as it’s showing a lot of wear. The beds are VERY firm. Stains on the bath towels with no extras, missing hand towels in a few bathrooms and we found a previous guests’ toothbrush beside the bathroom sink. The kitchen sink/counters were also dirty when we arrived. We did not bother asking for a clean as we felt better just cleaning it ourselves, so I can’t comment on the management of it, but Olga was helpful with other questions we had and helping us with the golf cart rental.

Beautiful home. Modern. On the other hand, it would have been nice if the air conditioning had been turned on before our arrival. Because it took a few hours to get to the right temperature. Not enough towels for 5 people. Lacks a bit of attention to decor. The kitchen chairs are made of metal, so they are very hard. The pool was great. The location shown by the GPS coordinates on Google Maps or Apple Maps was not exactly the right place. But we ended up finding it. Good communication with the hosts.

Regarding towels, the house is prepared for 6 people, and we provide that number as standard. If they had made cloths, they would have told us, and we would have gladly helped them. Regarding the location, in Costa Rica, there are no addresses with street or avenue names like in other countries; we usually use pin locations as a guide; that's how it's always been. That's why we sent the pin for the house. In this case, the internet connection may have affected the accuracy of the hotspot. We also included photos of the façade in the listing, and there is a large sign at the entrance that says Casa Shibui, which makes it easy to identify.
