A private beach! Need I say more? The place was clean and comfortable, and oh yeah...did I mention it has a private beach?! The house is well located and we had a great time. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotlessly clean, absolutely beautiful, and exactly as described. The views were INSANE and honestly even better in person! The owners were amazing...so responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our entire stay. Everything about this home made our trip so special. We truly hope to come back and stay at this same house again someday! 💛 pura vida

This is a three story house built on a cliff with fantastic ocean views from the upstairs balcony and 2 of the bedrooms. The kitchen, dining area and one bedroom are located on the entrance level with 2 additional bedrooms downstairs. There is a nice pool (but not so big) and sitting area on the first floor. there is a number of steps (maybe 30-50) you have to climb to get to the beach but once you get there it feels very tranquil and almost private with only a few neighborhoods having access to the beach. During our stay we only saw another family at the beach once. You can snorkel or surf fish at the beach (a simple fishing rod was provided by the hosts which was good enough for me to catch and release a couple of fish). The hosts themselves are also very nice and responsive. They easily accommodated our request for a 2pm checkout.

Amazing place and will for sure be back! Mitch was so helpful, responsive and kind. Such a great location. 10 min walk to town (this became something we looked forward to every day). Beautiful private beach. Safest beach around for kids. Thank you so much Mitch!

If you’re on the fence about staying here, just do it. It is so beautiful, and the private beach is definitely worth it. This was the only beach that had calm waves that we were able to swim in with our young children. Had we stayed anywhere else and went to public beaches, we would not have been able to swim. Mitch is super responsive, and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. Everything was nice and clean, and all of our children loved it.

If you are bringing your family to Costa Rica, look no further for a base camp. We had originally booked at a local resort, but found myself worried after reading a host of negative reviews. This place is a gem - and if it is available and you are traveling with a family, book it now. Private pool. Private beach. More than enough room for our family of 6. Incredible location, close to anything you would want to leave the home for locally. This is like having your own private resort. Too hot outside? The climate control in the home was more than enough to keep us comfortable throughout our trip. Mitch, Olivia (and Juan!) were incredible, helpful, and extremely responsive. Mitch provided excellent recommendations for local services and groceries to pick up food on the way in to town for our trip. Seriously, we cannot recommend this place enough. We had an incredible trip, and Mitch, his team, and his home were an incredible end for our first experience in Costa Rica.

Great house with private beach! My family loved our first stay in Costa Rica. The house has incredible views and the private beach was spectacular! It’s so nice that there were a few boats who brought people to spend a few hours there as an excision. It’s extremely rare to find this set up anywhere else. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Colibrí! Mitch (the owner) and Olivia (the property manager) were both fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made communication really easy. The house itself was spotless and absolutely beautiful when we arrived. It has everything you could possibly need, and the ocean view is stunning! We loved spending time in the pool and couldn’t get enough of the private beach—it felt like our own little slice of paradise, as we had it all to ourselves every day. The location is perfect too. It’s private and peaceful but still close to great restaurants (from street tacos to upscale spots) and plenty of fun places to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend Casa Colibrí to anyone visiting Playa Flamingo. We’d come back in a heartbeat! Pura Vida!

This is a wonderful house in a great location! Having the pool and easy beach access makes for a great stay. Being near the marina affords many options for dining and activities. The house itself is clean and comfortable.

What can I say, but Pura Vida!! Mitch's place was fabulous in so many ways! The proximity to the private beach, to Flamingo Beach, and to town, the pool and the view, the sound of the waves, the cleanliness (the house and linens - probably the most clean AirBnB that we've stayed in), the responsiveness (quick communication before, during and after), the amenities (full kitchen, bath and pool towels, laundry, a game closet, all you need really). Just overall a wonderful house and visit to CR! Tried many of the recommendations on the guide to fun page for the house, and all accurate! This is a must stay house for sure! Thank you Mitch! We loved our time at this amazing home! The view from the house was breathtaking. The private beach was so peaceful. The beach in Playa de flamingo was so clean and beautiful. We loved hanging out in the pool in the afternoons. Our hosts, Mitch and Olivia, were extremely responsive. It made planning our trip so easy! Their concierge service helped us book a fishing trip that was so fun! My son caught a huge sailfish, and it was one of the highlights of the trip! Great restaurants all around…definitely stop by Hibiscus as they have the yummiest cocktails and owner is fabulous! I would highly recommend niche and Olivia’s property!

This house was incredible to stay at with an breathtaking view and amazing beach. Mitch and his team were excellent, but he communicated everything so well in his written instructions for directions, how the house functions, local things to do etc that we did not even need any assistance while there or to find/ get in house. Even not needing assistance, they continued to send messages to let us know they were available and ask if we needed anything. The pool is also perfect temp, not too hot for hot days but not cold at all. The views from the bedrooms and open living space are to die for. This is somewhere I would continue to come to several times in future. Made the entire vacation well worth it and plenty to do in the area. All local food was also incredible. I do not recommend the local market other then snacks, meats weren’t very good and not good options and would have just got snacks for house and bfast and ate out all dinners but EvERYTHING about Mitch’s was perfection.

Mitch was a fantast host. His place was very beautiful, had an amazing view, all the amenities we needed and was exactly as described. his communication was top-notch and he made our stay there perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Mitch’s place! He was the best host! We loved hanging out on the deck every day and swimming in the pool! Loved going on walks by the beach. It was all wonderful! Mitch was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had! The town is also super cute! Would stay here again in a second!
