Our family had a really lovely time here. The gardens around the pool are lush and beautiful, and we spotted plenty of wildlife while swimming. Beach is a short walk down the hill.

We rented both houses and had a great time. We loved waking up to the howls of the howler monkeys and the sounds of the birds and the sea! It’s awesome to be in the middle of the nature but you have to be ready for the insects too!

Really a beautiful place and a wonderful garden with fantastic wildlife. We arrived just after a power outage due to severe weather and fallen trees, but Zvezda welcomed us warmly and ensured we had a wonderful stay. So toucans, monkeys, parrots right outside the house 🙌 Thank you so much for some wonderful days ☀️🙏

The place is a dream in the middle of nature and close to the main beaches in the area. To get in, you DO need a 4x4 vehicle (as the listing says). César and Zvezda's service was excellent and super fast. They resolved any request that was made. The pool has ladder access and is super nice! We will definitely stay again! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful property, location was great, safe for families.

The grounds were beautiful. We rented two houses for a big family trip and really enjoyed having our own spaces but being so close. The children enjoyed the pool so much and the balconies were amazing for wildlife viewing. The caretaker was unobtrusive but always available and they changed our linens and trash twice in a one week stay. Walkable even for children to the beach and a few restaurants.

Punta Uva beach is beautiful, and so is the location of Ginger and Cacao. Everything is furnished with a lot of love. The pool and outdoor area are incredibly beautiful. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Beautiful grounds, well kept.

Very pleasant stay in the middle of the rainforest. Very clean house with amenities and air conditioning in both bedrooms and ceiling fans everywhere. We had the Ginger house. Cabinets in the bedrooms to store clothes and mosquito nets in the patio doors of the bedrooms and kitchen. Kitchen fairly well equipped with a gas stove. Access to the entrance is narrow and very steep; a 4x4 facilitates the climb. We found the entrance easier to maneuver when arriving from above. Note that Punta Uva is down the coast; for young and fit people, it can take about 5 minutes to walk, otherwise it takes a car. We loved our stay, the excursions were close by car. Grocery stores are a 5-minute drive away. César, the concierge, is on site and responds quickly to our requests. Incredible to hear the sounds of the jungle and see the macaws, hummingbirds and other animals. Thanks to our host for a memorable stay!

This place in the Caribbean is a little piece of paradise, a place to forget about stress, a place that's a total dream Costa Rica's best beaches are within walking or driving distance. I'd be back again

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful villas and beautiful poolside. We saw toucans and green macaws while we were resting by the pool! Several amenities in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed for my boy. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach. The return is more difficult because of the big hill to climb, but it made us exercise! We appreciated the beach towels provided by the host. We used the same tuk tuk driver who came to pick us up directly from the villa. We wrote to him on WhatsApp. Count 5,000 colónes to go to town. Thanks to Cesar, the caretaker who is exemplary in his kindness.

The villas were beautiful, as was the pool area. Just a short walk to the beach where we saw many sloths. Highly recommend the local El Refugio Grill for a delicious meal out.

The place was very clean, the directions regarding the vehicle are real, very close to the beach.
