This is a great house in a perfect location a 15 min walk (or 2 min drive!) to all of the restaurants in La Fortuna. Little market right across the street as well. Three bedrooms with sleeping for up to 10. Awesome.

We had a lovely stay at Isabella's! The accommodation is very clean and very well maintained. There was plenty of space for our family of 5, and the covered patio and pool were very pleasant when it was raining. John was very proactive when we asked him, and the restaurant recommendations were great. I definitely recommend this house, located in a region where there are many different activities!

John & Isabella’s place is the most beautiful Airbnb we have stayed in. My family of 6 had plenty of space. The house is very clean, well-equipped, with comfortable beds and excellent air-conditioning. The outdoor area is amazing - peaceful, private, a beautiful pool and really comfortable outdoor furniture to sit on and relax each day after doing activities in the local area. John is a great host as well as being incredibly kind and friendly. We are very grateful to him and his team at Tropical Experts Costa Rica for excellent private transfers during our 16 day trip around the country. The service was always professional and reliable. They went out of their way to make our holiday memorable with stops along the way for lunch and to see interesting sights. John and his team made all our travelling around this beautiful country stress-free. Very highly recommend Tropical Experts.

This was the most perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. John left us some fresh delicious fruit as we arrived which was so kind. We truly appreciated his recommendations, they were fantastic. John also sent videos on how to get to the house that were very helpful. We only wish we had booked more time here.

Johns and Isabella’s place was amazing! We were a group of 9 and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor space. We loved the bakery and the store that were within walking distance. We also walked to the main part of town and it was not a bad walk. John was very helpful in setting things up for us, he was also great about checking in with and giving us recommendations. We would love to come back and visit. Highly recommend. We hope to come back and stay again.

We are a family of 6 with 4 teenagers. We really enjoyed this place and its amenities. The indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious and well laid out and equipped. The pool area is very convenient and well thought out for enjoying the outdoors!

John & Isabella's place is absolutely gorgeous. The house is spotlessly clean, and every detail has been attended to. We felt right at home. Comfy beds, welcoming spaces, plenty of extra towels and blankets, A/C in every room. The outdoor area is really amazing - Lots of beautiful tropical plants and flowers, hummingbirds & lots of other birds, so lush and peaceful!! With the walls surrounding the yard, it's very private, feels like a retreat space. The pool is beautiful - My kids and I loved hanging out in the pool. We spent as much time hanging out in the beautiful outdoor space as we did inside the house. John was attentive and helpful, with clear instructions about everything we needed, and responded right away when we had questions. The town of La Fortuna is about 3 to 5 minutes away by car with lots of delicious restaurants and nice shops. We would definitely stay at John's place again!

John was an excellent host. He was quick to respond and gave us awesome recommendations for restaurants and someone (Diego) for booking excursions. We had the best time!

I can’t say enough great things about this stay! John’s place at absolutely everything I could need for my stay with family. It was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly insect free, even outside! The covered pool area was great for hanging out when it sprinkled and provided nice shade. We had a minor issue and they came within 10 minutes to fix. We felt safe the entire time, the property has a locked gate and home is secure. The home is outside of the tourist area, surrounded by locals and walkable to stores and downtown La Fortuna. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice fruit basket and menus for local chefs and restaurants. Good home base for activities around La Fortuna.

This place was amazing! We spent three nights in La Fortuna and loved it. The host was also quite helpful with recommendations and cleans everything after you leave so it’s a very smooth exit as well.
