Beautiful home, and we saw monkeys, coatis, and birds right from the patio. Hannah was so helpful in arranging tours. We had a wonderful time.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. The interior, the views, nothing but beauty. Very private and in nature. Monkeys visited daily.

We have been coming to Montezuma for years. I can’t believe this is the first we stayed. The amenities and views are spectacular. This is the best home in Montezuma.

Incredible! This villa is everything people say it is and so much more. Seriously, try to get here when the sun is still out. When you walk in and that amazing view hits you, it’s just pure magic. I’ll never forget this villa. I love floor-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen and living room. It feels like you're living right in the middle of a postcard. My lady friend and I were there for Valentine's weekend, and we caught a sunset from the dining room that was out of this world—one of the best I’ve seen in Costa Rica, for sure. The bedroom is huge, with plenty of space to chill, and the shower is amazing. We loved having our morning coffee on the private deck right off the bedroom, taking tons of pictures and just soaking it all in. The hosts were awesome! They got back to us super fast whenever we had questions and gave us some great tips for things to do in town. They made everything so easy and stress-free. Honestly, the only bad part was having to pack up and go home.

Such an amazing house in the most beautiful location above Montezuma beach. We loved every minute at the house. We were lucky enough to be taken on a tour of the property by Pedro and the dogs. It was fantastic.

This house is a true gem . It was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. My husband and I chose this home for our honeymoon. We were looking for a place to unwind and refresh and we absolutely were able to do that. Hannah gave us top notch suggestions for a chef to prepare our dinners and tour guide for a day out on the water for some whale watching. We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home and country.

There aren’t words to describe how incredible our stay at Casa Cocobolo was for our family! Silvia, Thoren, Hannah, and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of no matter what we needed. The house is amazing and we loved the inside/outside aspect of it. Traveling this time as a mom with three kids, I appreciated how secure the property was at all times. We had so many suggestions for things to do from Hannah! The monkeys and iguana were amazing to see. It’s hard to describe how caring the staff and family were! I’ll give a few examples, but there isn’t enough space to mention all of the little and BIG things they did for us. Fresh coconuts were brought to our door within minutes of them finding out I was dehydrated, having a doctor come to the home when my son had an ear infection, wonderful soup made to help heal, finding us an amazing Spanish tutor that my kids wanted to bring home with us, and there is so much more. WE CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK! 5+ STAR VACATION!

This house is unreal - the architecture, views, and sunrises – truly a magnificent setting! The beauty of the red & orange sunrise lured us out of bed each day and we opened the sliding glass doors to enjoy the natural surroundings. The coffee (from the host) is fabulous, as is the view from the deck. We spent our afternoons by the pool, entertained by the monkeys playing in the trees and took turns napping in the hammock & spotting iguanas & red pale-billed woodpeckers. Suppers on the deck were fun, and the sound of the pool waterfall and ocean waves lulled us into a deep sleep in the super comfy beds! Hannah was superb, helping us book all transfers, answering questions & advising us on local activities. She arranged a boat & naturalist to take us snorkeling and beach hopping where we saw spotted rays, lounged on white sand beaches, and experienced bioluminescence after dark! We also loved shopping and surfing in Santa Teresa (30 minute taxi ride). We wanted to stay forever!

One of my best stays yet!

I’ve had to take some time to fully articulate the experience we had. To put it simply, the photos do not do the home justice. The staff is just amazing. We had never been to Montezuma, and, what an amazing town. We had been to Costa Rica before, and if you’re looking for an authentic experience with people you trust, do yourself a favor and stay here. The home speaks for itself. It’s such a special place. Skip the popular & tourist towns and visit here. Amazing.

The house and the view were spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay, we saw a lot of animals in the sea and on the property (monkeys, coatis, whales). Everything was as described, but you have to know that the architecture of the house is partly open so that you sometimes have guests (pleasant and less pleasant). With a little adjustment, such as reducing the light at dawn, it was no problem, we would love to come back anytime.
