Very happy with our stay there, would have stayed longer if we could. Pool was nicely kept, place was easy to find despite being deep in a jungle neighborhood and overall was very private and quiet. The hosts were wonderful and always quick to respond to our messages and accommodate our needs. The house was as described, very spacious and nicely kept rooms. Fans more than did the job to keep us cooled down (although Talamanca wasn't as hot as other times of the year, so mileage may vary.) Lots of birds came to visit, as well as howler monkeys. Overall we had a great time and would definitely visit again!

Awesome place!

Stayed for 5 nights, loved the pool and outside terrace. We also enjoyed having animals closeby, a family of howler monkeys on the trees nearby.

Very expensive for a very simple home, with a mini sink, no pool and a very uncomfortable bed. The host was always attentive and very helpful. There are better accommodations at that price.

My family has traveled to the Cahuita area multiple times. We really enjoy the area and heading south of puerto viejo to the beaches as well. This house was perfect for our family. The responsiveness of the management was wonderful. We had a few questions and they immediately responded. They offered laundry service which was very much needed! We traveled with my older parents and young kids who all enjoyed the pool, the covered patio, and the relaxing outdoor bed. We loved all the birds that came through the yard and howler monkeys. The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked many meals in the house. The beds were comfortable, nice bathrooms and outdoor shower. The only miscommunication was that the gardeners were coming on a specific day and unfortunately they came on a different day, the day we decided to stay home by the pool. Check beforehand, it shouldn’t be a problem if you are out and about. My mom would have liked a few more fans. We will definitely return to this house!

Whispering Wisdom is such a beautiful house! The woodwork as amazing, the pool clean, and the design is so welcoming. There are 3 bedrooms, a work loft, and a full kitchen. We jumped in the pool daily and the hanging chair was so relaxing. There is a bed on the patio as well. There were so many stars, animals, and the plants are perfectly chosen for frequent hummingbird and butterfly visits. There are some neighbors, but they were quiet and you are separated by tall plants. Keep in mind you are surrounded by nature-you will hear howler monkeys, frogs, cicadas, etc. you will have a few visitors like ants and geckos. Use Google Maps! The property is a little hard to find-Waze left me nearby but not close enough. A patient management staff helped us navigate. They were amazing-they helped us plan some last minutes activities and alternatives when the weather was too tough for fishing, etc.

This house was great and exactly what we needed! Felt right at home and had all the stuff for a comfortable stay.

Basically very pleasant quiet neighborhood of cahuita, rarely, if Sunday, party in the neighborhood max until 8 pm. You can quickly get to the beautiful wild beach, nice garden, great pool and terrace. There are no ceiling fans, the standing fans are not sufficient on the terrace. Lighting concept is missing, especially on the terrace. Super care!! Overall, we felt VERY comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at this place! We could observe the animals from the garden bed :) Everything was clean and well-equipped. Walkable distance to the Playa Grande. Thanks for hosting us!
