Villa Mirador was amazing, it was like we had our own full resort (it’s so spacious!). Sara helped arrange a chef and gave other recommendations. We swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub, kayaked and paddle boarded in the ocean, bicycled around, enjoyed delicious dinners with Chef Aaron and team every night <3. Juan, the care taker that lives on property, was amazing, welcoming, and kindly shared some fresh coconuts with us. We rented a van to drive down from Belize city and the drive was super easy. There are a few grocery stores to grab drinks and snacks. We had a golf cart as well that was nice for small groups to get around in. Our Belize vacation was truly 5 star and the whole family loved it, many of their first time traveling abroad from US. We experienced some wonderful food and culture in town, but also did a snorkeling trip (Happy Go Luckie Tours) and went hiking in a nearby park/reserve. We would highly recommend Villa Mirador and Belize to all!

This was our second time back to Villa Mirador in 4 months. We took our kids then our friends. This house is everything and more. We had Chef Aaron who hit it out of the park with his food and service. Juan stays is at the house and is so helpful and sweet. Hopkins is a great little village and the people are so friendly. We wanted something authentic and cultural, not touristy. Rich and Sara are delightful hosts. We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing home right on the beach. Great for multiple families wanting separate spaces but great communal balconies, pool, and beach. House has bikes, kayaks, sups, and other fun stuff. Sara and Rich are great hosts - Juan is the man. Kept the beach clean with a sargassum algae bloom. Town of Hopkins’s has some good restaurants, but we rented a van a did a couple days in placencia which was beautiful. We used DTourZ from the recommendation from Sara. We used chef Aaron for a couple dinners which we good. Overall, great home which was also very clean. Fabulous family vacation.

Villa Mirador was pure paradise! The property was spotless, the beds were comfy, we had everything we could have possibly needed. The best part of our stay, was the groundskeeper Juan! He was such a joy and we will miss him greatly!

We can't say enough about this place! It was beautiful, great location, had everything we needed and more!!! Juan was an added bonus!! The house was extremely clean! Beautiful inside and out!!!!!

What a fantastic stay! We were a group of 3 couples ready for a nice relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we found at Villa Mirador. The grounds were immaculate and the property was well thought out. From the amenities to the floorplan to the onsite groundskeeper, Juan, there was little left for want. We travel as a group annually to a new country each year and this one has set the bar high. If we ever return to Belize this will be the location of choice. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely awesome! place to stay! Sara and Richard we're super responsive and very helpful before and during our trip. great hosts! John was way helpful to have on site. He helped take care of us and answered all our questions! Loved the house. It was so amazing. The bikes, paddleboards, and kayaks were all awesome. We felt like it was worth the money we paid. Honestly a little piece of paradise there! The only rough part is the sand fly bugs! Just be prepared when traveling to Belize, use bug spray or coconut oil from day one!

Our stay at Villa Mirador was impeccable! We travelled with our 3 adult children and their significant others so 7 of us total. This house is amazing with thoughtful design. It over delivered in every way. Juan was onsite to help with anything we needed. He literally became our friend. The proximity to the beach from the pool was perfect. This house was equipped with everything we needed. Chef Aaron made this experience so much better than staying at a resort. Then the access to the village was close and easy. The people of Hopkins were friendly and fun. Sara the host gave us great recommendations from the chef to snorkel excursions. She was incredibly responsive to my 1000 questions before we arrived! We truly hope we can come back. It’s worth every dime!!!

Just finished a six night stay at Villa Mirador. The house had plenty of space for two families with four adults and four kids (ages 10-13). The location was perfect. The house had everything we needed and was very well thought out. We enjoyed fishing from the beach, kayaking, and some snorkeling. Would definitely stay again!

Where do I begin? This place is truly a slice of heaven on earth. The location is stunning, the house is spectacular, the pool and hot tub were perfect in every way. Juan, the caretaker, literally saved us one evening when our car got stuck on the muddy roads due to heavy rain. He and Richard, the owner, were exceptionally friendly, kind, gracious, and went above and beyond in every way to make sure our stay was as good as it could be. We hired the very talented Chef Aaron Zuniga per the host's recommendation, and he made our absolute favorite meals of the trip, lovingly crafted with local, fresh ingredients at an incredible value. Hopkins is a very special place with a rich culture and the nicest local people you will ever meet. We always felt safe, secure, and relaxed everywhere we went. The only downside was the biting sand fleas, but not much to do about that! We hope to return again someday. We will never forget this incredible place! Thank you!

Juan, the live-in caretaker of the house, made us feel right at home. This place was truly paradise, and we hope to come back again in a few years. We are so happy we chose this place for our first international holiday.

We had two families with 4 adults and 5 kids (age range between 7-11). This place was even better than the pictures. Very large space with plenty of room for all 9 of us. There is a bonus “room” with bunk beds that is small but perfect for kids, plus there are roll away beds for kids as well. The location is about 2 hours south of Belize City and on the southern side of the Hopkins Bay village. There are resorts, restaurants, and food markets in the village. It is a short car ride away but easy to get to. We got some great suggestions from Sara for day excursions and it was beneficial to rent a car. We also used Chef Aaron for a few meals. Juan was awesome as well. He answered all our questions and made it feel safe knowing he was there! The location is super safe, especially with kids. The pool, hot tub and beach were awesome as well. Everyone had a great time! Highly recommend it!
