everything was amazing, eric was a great host and was very responsive, the house was beautiful and the pool was very clean. we were a 10 min walk from the centro of san jose del cabo. would definitely recommend staying here and this is where i will stay if i come back!

There are a lot of pros and only a few cons to Erik's place. First, he is extremely responsive and helpful. I would give six stars on that category if I could. The beds are nice and the layout is good. The rooftop area is good for evening hangouts. The pool does the trick for afternoon dips. The location is pretty good - close to walmart, a coffee shop, a bakery, an oxxo, and several taco spots. Easy to walk to the touristy areas and extremely easy to get an uber and not get stuck in traffic. The con was that the place had water pump issues. When we got back from our Friday night out, the night before we left town, there was no running water. We had a morning flight but the bathrooms were still out of order all morning. It was less than ideal to go to the airport for a day of travel back to the US without having showered. As a group of four guys, we managed. Other groups may not have fared that well. If the water is guaranteed fixed, this is a 5 star review.

Totally get it. Unfortunately we had them come to fix the pump right after you left at 8 am. Thank you for your review and we apologize and sent $100 for breakfast and drinks at the airport for the inconvenience

The location is great - in a real neighborhood and easy walking distance to the historic center of town. Parking was very convenient and the sweet pool was the perfect place to cool off. The rooftop deck was great but the furniture is in rough shape and doesn’t look anything like the photos, same with the bar area by the pool. We also were really tight with 9 guests, but we made do. Overall a good stay!

I think for the price providing water for visitors and maybe just some coffee and trash bags would have been nice/ I stay at many air bnbs and just having some basic amenities that aren’t to costly go a long way/ this place didn’t really offer that.

Great location, very walkable to lots of grab and go or sit down restaurants, grocery shops, and the main plaza. The pool/surrounding pool area is small for adults and despite 27 C weather was a bit cold for full submersion, but was great for toddlers as half the pool is very shallow which was a fantastic splash pad for them. The toys in the closet were fun for the kids too. The layout was great for families as no room shares a wall or bathroom, so the sound isolation was quite good between the rooms and the kitchen where you can stay up late without worrying about noise transfer. The furniture on the top balcony has seen many better years but was functional. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This is the second time staying in this house. The previous one was booked by a colleague. But this time it was not a good experience. When I arrived I found the house without water and the cleaning person with the sheets from the beds in the washing machine. He didn't have the best attitude and told me that he would ask for a pipe and then he just left without saying goodbye. At 3 o'clock the pipe arrived and I didn't know what instructions to give. After the water truck left, there was still no water and I reported it and they sent a plumber and I didn't have water until 7 pm. The terrace furniture is in a deplorable state. I think the fact that there is no concierge to provide solutions on site or at least in the city for the situations. They make the experience complicated.

Hi Adan - We truly apologize for your experience. We did let you know and reported to Airbnb that we were having issues with the water and you agreed it was ok and wanted to stay. We told Airbnb that the Pipa was coming the day of your party and they offered to have you at another location which we were fine with. I’m not sure what happened with our cleaning lady as this is being translated and it’s not reading correctly. Our patio furniture is sun damaged due to the weather conditions here in San Jose but is completely usable.
