Great spot if you have reasonable expectations. The room was cute, clean and as expected from the pictures. Our room was right on the beach looking at the lake. Stunning location and view. Fair warning: if you don’t like bugs and a few ants here and there this might not be for you but for a small cabin on a lake shore we were expecting this and not disappointed by it. Still gave 5/5 stars. The staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was delicious.

We absolutely loved this place - extremely peaceful, and it was just beautiful to sit on the veranda and watch the lake, birds, and occasional horses & cattle wonder along the shore. The owner, his wife and his son were all really friendly & helpful as well. Very highly recommended.

Don't come here if you don't want to be fooled! The rooms are rustic, expect bugs in the rooms and in the bed. Still, it's okay and nice views, just be prepared for it. Unfortunately, what really brings down the whole experience is their sense of service.. Breakfast is not included at all and you will be charged before you leave. They also do not provide any information about it when they tell you the day's choice of breakfast and ask what you want to drink... it will be an unexpected surprise and an unpleasant one. There are many other places on the island that do not give a bitter aftertaste.

Es una pena que mientas públicamente sin importar el daño que puedas causar a un negocio, llevamos un poco más de tres años de estar en Airbnb y eres la única persona que dice que sus desayunos no fueron servidos . Se les dieron 6 desayunos de los cuales sólo 1 pagastes porque no era el desayuno del día ,se te informo que el desayuno se acompañaba con te o con café tú decidiste ordenar otra cosa (limonada) no está incluida tiene un costo y eso si se cobró. Disculpa por los insectos no sé si te distes cuenta que estabas en una isla muy rural.

honestly this stay has been one of my best so far. the staff is very friendly and kind and very helpful . Not to mention there are family. They have an onsite resteraunt that serves amazing food and many different options as well. They helped us with arranging rides all over ometepe and even got us a ride from ometepe to San Juan del Sur. it's right on the lake and has an amazing view of the volcanoes. The people in the area are super friendly and kind and very welcoming . If you want peace , serenity and a family atmosphere with amazing local people. This is the place for you!! It's right in the center , everything is very accessible from this location.

Great spot, couldn’t get closer to the waters edge. The little casita was all we needed and sleeping to the sound of the water was lovely. Very friendly and helpful crew. Would have happily stayed on longer.

Right on the lake you could hear the waves rushing. We received tips and our requests were responded to quickly. We would book the place again.

Great stay, the hosts were nice and available. They even made me sandwiches in the evening in preparation for my climb to the volcano the very early next day!

The hotel is near the port of San Juan, so very easy to access. The hosts are friendly and willing to help. They can assist us with motorbike rentals. The accommodation was simple but clean and as advertised. The proximity of the lake and the horses on the doorstep are a plus! Lunch is included, dinner on site is available. Food is good. Thank you!

We had a great stay here and would recommend the location and accommodation if you’re happy with a peaceful, rural environment on a fantastic island. We walked to the nearby park, hired a taxi to do a tour of the island with the help of the family and found the nearby Morgan’s restaurant did super food. Highlights were watching the cows and horses come down to drink and swim in the lake, the helpful hosts and the perfect simple setting.

A great little spot, the weather wasn’t ideal when we were there. But the staff was helpful as we had some issues with water pressure in the rooms.

We enjoyed it very much. The location was very nice with a direct view of the lake. People were all friendly. The rooms were very simple, but with everything you need.
