We had a decent stay at this house, which has a beautiful view and real potential. However, there are several points worth improving to make the experience more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the kitchen was rather borderline upon our arrival, and some amenities still seem to need to be finalized or better maintained. We also had a water problem, but the host quickly intervened to resolve it, which we appreciated. Regarding the outdoor pools, we had to ask the host to come and fill them with water. Also note: it's not really a Jacuzzi, contrary to what was indicated in the listing. Finally, the shower water wasn't always hot, and the shower head sprayed water in several directions. The house remains pleasant thanks to its view and its surroundings, but some improvements would be necessary for it to fully match the description.
It can be difficult to find, make sure you clarify the location with Orlando, but hes very friendly. The unit and pool are fantastic.
Lovely hosts, nice area (just a short walk down to the river) and a fun, unique villa. however our experience was highly effected by having no running water. Toilets wouldn't flush and were gurgling during the night which also meant no sleep. the kitchen was also not very clean. Hard for us to also keep clean due to the lack of water. They came to attempt to fix the issue first thing but given we only stayed one night it does mean I can't rate our experience any higher.
My wife and I Absolutely loved our stay here! Completely met our expectations and was a beautiful peaceful place to stay! Very friendly host and helpful with any questions! Definitely would stay here again!
This stay was more beautiful than in the pictures! The grounds are beautiful and the home was everything we were looking for. Short hike to river. Private pool was awesome, and the view is beautiful.
I loved their beautiful villa with a unique architectural style. Very intimate place with large bedroom and large terrace. Splendid view from the house which offers tranquility and privacy. Large courtyard and 2 private pools at the villa we rented which is filled with water naturally heated by the nearby volcanic springs and without chlorine. Like at the spa, but for free. The water in the 2 pools is changed before the arrival of new visitors. Orlando is a very kind and welcoming host. They were easy to communicate with. He was very receptive to our additional requests once we arrived at the villa. The price is justified by the size/quality of the components of the house offering tranquility and a lot of privacy and an extraordinary view. A very useful guide with all the services/attractions and restaurants nearby was provided to us before our arrival and we were able to find the place very easily! Highly recommend this sweet sweet spot!
What an absolute gem. Greatly exceeded my expectations. The house is something you’d see on Pinterest TV, etc.. We felt very blessed and Orlando is the man.!!
Had an amazing stay at Destino Hotel & Hot Springs! Especially appreciated the thermal infinity edge pool at sunset, as well as the quiet and peaceful surroundings, soaking tub and AC unit in room. Highly recommend downloading Whats App prior to your trip to contact the host, as well as having a car with AWD and some clearance to get to the villas. Appreciated being so close to nature with an accommodating host! Would definitely return here when in Costa Rica.

Cozy stay in an amazing villa with stunning views of nature. We had an extraordinary host who helped us at all times, any questions or requests were resolved immediately. I would definitely stay at this place again.
An incredible Airbnb in a breathtaking setting and view. The villa was luxurious and Orlando was very attentive. I would recommend it without a second thought!!
