Let me preface by saying I live in a small rural mountain town in Colorado. I’m not a nitpicky kind of person however, the house was not very clean overall for a vacation rental. Floors were unswept and clearly had not been washed in a while. The quality of bed linens were very poor and ill fitting along with the bathroom towels being old and stiff. We could not occupy the second king bedroom downstairs due to an overpowering musty smell and the vent fan did little to help. Water pressure was very minimal even after cleaning the shower heads myself. The shower drains were slow to drain. We did enjoy the warmth of the pool and the view of the ocean from the patio!

The neighborhood and view are nice, but there is nothing “luxury” about this place, as is advertised in the listing. The house is pretty run down and in need of updating. Broken patio furniture and lights that don’t work. For drinking glasses, you have your choice of three beer mugs, and five or six plastic glasses. Just overall it was not as advertised, and definitely not luxurious. And beware of very restrictive rules for checking in. It’s all about their schedule…

We had a fantastic stay at this rental home in Costa Rica! The location was excellent, offering breathtaking views of the ocean that we never tired of. The highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing pool, which was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The outdoor showers added a luxurious touch and made us feel even closer to the natural surroundings. The host was incredibly responsive, quickly addressing a minor internet issue and arranging for the pool to be cleaned during our stay. It was reassuring to know help was just a message away. The only downside was dealing with some ants in the house, which took a bit of effort to manage. However, this seems to be a common issue in tropical locations, and it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, this home offered a peaceful and stunning retreat. If you’re looking.

Moshe’s place is incredible! Place is as described and what it looks like in pictures. The rooms are nice and cozy. The sunset views are amazing! There is a lot of privacy which was also great. The area was quiet and relaxing being away from the main town. I recommend renting a golf cart (or quad/car) so you can get around quicker as it is a quick 5-10 minute drive into Playa Guiones. Tiffany was very responsive and helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the my stay. I recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

This house was in the ideal location just off the beach roads of Nosara. It was set high on a hill away from the road. It was very private and had awesome ocean views. We went out exploring the area every morning and then enjoyed the beautiful pool in the afternoon. Tiffany, the host, was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendation, etc. She was very responsive and great to work with thru the whole reservation process. Enjoyed our stay in this house as well as the overall Nosara area.

Absolutely MESMERIZING view! We spent most of our time outside on the patio with our eyes toward the ocean. Not only was the view of the water and the sunset spectacular, but the setting was fairly private with lush greenery all around. We brought a pair of binoculars so we could see the birds, the surfers, boats and even whales. The pool was fantastic with plenty of outdoor furniture. In the evenings, we ate dinner on the huge wood patio table after watching the sun go down. If you be love sunsets, the view here can’t be beat! The owners were very responsive to email. Hans responded almost immediately when I had a question upon our arrival. Then, on our second day we noticed some pooling water under the sink and Hans scheduled a plumber to check it out right away. We were able to very easily fit two families of seven people total. Each adult couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, while our three teen girls enjoyed sharing the third bedroom, which is like a separate apartment with its own entrances. As we were told ahead of time, the third bedroom (that is attached but separate from the rest of the house) had a bit of a musty smell, but fresh air and the dehumidifier helped. After two weeks in Costa Rica, staying in multiple places, it was apparent that moisture issues are certainly not unusual, but someone with asthma or sensitivity to mildew may want to stay in one of the other two bedrooms. We had read that roads in Nosara could be a bit rough, but they were better than I expected. The main road through town is paved and the road up the long steep hill to the house is also paved and was easy driving. Some of the roads leading into Nosara were a bit bumpy and slow. We were glad we rented an SUV rather than a smaller car. Overall, it was a great stay in an amazingly relaxing setting with a view that cannot be beat!
