Quiet, private, good location. The host always responded quickly and reliably.

Tim’s place was incredible! My family with little kids stayed for a couple weeks and did not want to leave. The house was exceptional, safe, clean and comfortable. The pool was amazing, house well stocked and beds were terrific. Great location to enjoy Playa Grande as well as to explore the surrounding area. Great wildlife to observe, howler monkeys in the trees in the yard often, great birds, iguanas and coatis, to name a few. Tim and Sabrina were always quick to assist and answer any questions we had at anytime. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. We will definitely return!

Very nice home in Playa Grande. 10 minute walk to the beach and to several restaurants. The pool was refreshing to jump in after an afternoon at the beach. Quiet neighbors. Felt safe at night and during the day. Thank you Timothy!

We could not be happier with Timothy's place. I have to say that the pictures don't do it justice. It's one of those rare occasions when we expected to get something that is relatively simple and were blown away by the unique home that we found ourselves in. You can tell when an Airbnb is actually someone's home that they built for themselves rather than just a hotel. There is lots of little details that you can see people have taken care for themselves. I also have to commend Timothy on being extremely communicative and helpful and responsive. He always got back to me very quickly addressed everything and did his best to give us a 5-star experience. I could not recommend this any higher. It's just incredible and I wish we could stay for longer!

5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This house was perfect for our family trip! Spacious, clean, and beautifully set up for relaxing and entertaining. We loved the big kitchen with views of the pool and patio—it made cooking and hanging out with family and friends even better. The location couldn’t be better—just a quick drive to other beaches and restaurants, but also walking distance to Playa Grande, where we caught some of the most beautiful sunsets. We especially appreciated how easy and responsive Tim, the host, was throughout our stay. Already looking forward to coming back!

The house and property are beautiful, my family and I had a great time. It has all the amenities and more! Communication with Timothy and Sabrina was very timely and attentive. We are very grateful for the flexibility they gave us. We hope to return!!!

So thrilled. With three teenage boys, this house made our trip. Everyone had their own space and we had a spacious main area to hang out in. Shout out to the board game selection!! We had many fun-filled evenings playing Catan and Monopoly as a family. Also the beds are an 11/10 for comfort. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated having a hot shower and super comfortable bed to sink into at the end of the day. Had a few issues come up but the host and property manager were incredibly responsive, with the property manager discreetly taking care of things within a few hours. The walk to the beach was about 15 minutes for us but we took the road, not the trail behind the house. The area had a pretty rough wet season and the path was a little washed out and not overly comfortable or easy to navigate with kids, bags, bodyboards. But even with that 15-minute walk, I would still book here again. We ended up seeing the walk as a positive, it got us moving every day.

We loved our stay here! The house is a gem. We spent lots of morning time on the patio, a cozy outdoor space. We cooked breakfast ever morning and had everything we need in the spacious kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches, nice linens and comfortable beds, much appreciated. Having a local contact was great. We zipped to the beach everyday in the car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tim's home in Playa Grande. This is a spacious, modern home in a small, relaxed surf town. The house is well equipped, stocked with toiletries, and secured with roll-down metal shutters. Staying in Playa Grande was wonderful as you get both the tranquil, lazy beach vibes of this vibrant community and you are also able to easily travel, from 20 minutes to an hour depending, and access tons of other towns and beaches. It is ideal for a Costa Rica excursion home. Tim's recommendations and guides of restaurants, beaches, activities, etc. were referenced constantly and incredibly helpful on our stay. We loved Timothy's place! Our family of 5 (3 teens) stayed for 5 days. Great big home with lots of room, comfy beds, plenty of towels and linens. Netflix worked great, Wifi was great 95% of the time, cut out a few times but its to be expected as it is remote. Everything you need in the well equipped and huge kitchen. Lots of light coming in through the ceiling to floor windows, and you feel safe at night with the roll down metal shutters. 7-8 minute walk through a trail in the woods to get to the beach, which felt very safe. Playa Grande beach is amazing and so long! We saw some nice birds, squirrels and howler monkeys right on the property. It is a good idea to have a car if you stay here, as it is not within walking distance to grocery stores, or things to do (but a quick drive to get there). Timothy is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to stay here!

Timothy was on top of everything from before we arrived, throughout our stay, and after we checked out with any remaining details. I highly recommend booking this spot if you like privacy, space, and an authentic CR vibe. Pictures are accurate, in fact everything about this listing was accurate. Book it!
