What a cool place to stay! The owners have put so much thought and detail into the design and decor of this airBnB and we loved our stay. My son loved the koi pond out back and the backyard and rooftop terrace was so peaceful (when you managed to avoid the eyesight of the neighbor’s barky dog). Great for a one night stay to break up a roadtrip. Not much to do in the area/restaurants so expect some driving on one-ish lane winding roads to get into Grecia.

From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by nature and peace. I really appreciated how spacious the place was and that it had everything we needed.

This is easily one of our top Airbnb choices in CR! The design, details, and pretty much every space of the house is well thought out. Loved the green around us everywhere. We spent only one night but would definitely go back and spend more time and get to know the surrounding areas. We loved the top deck and fire pit! Had a great time! Greivin was super responsive and kind at all times!

That house is like an oasis, I really enjoyed a quiet weekend with my friends just for us. It has everything we could need, it is very well equipped although there are some appliances that are somewhat difficult to get out of the drawers, but in general it is a dream house and the design is wonderful. If there is a person with mobility problems in your group, take into account that the house has several steps to go up to one of the rooms or to the terrace with the fire pit or to visit the koi pond, which is another of those wonders of the house. I highly recommend it and communication with the hosts was very quick and efficient

Amazing stay! Be aware this is an OPEN concept home meaning it’s not fully enclosed. Animals were heard at night among other nature noises. Would recommend this stay if you want an adventure!

This was a lovely place to stay. I came with my parents and my sister and the house is so cool! There are several sets of stairs in the house, which for my older parents they were nervous about. But they stayed in the bedroom on the first floor and it was all fine! The hosts were incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions. I would definitely come back!

WOW! This unique stay is just like the photos. It is unbelievably original. The mature tropical landscaping was very inviting to us and birds. We even had a gorgeous Lessons Motmot come visit us in the house. Yes, in the house. The upstairs seating area is both open to the outside and the living area of the home. This allowed for the place to fill with cool mountain air in the evenings. The house is just a few short minutes driving to many restaurants and shopping. The main central area of Grecia is just a few miles away and the unique vibe of Sarchi, only 20-ish minutes. With it being less than an hour drive to SJO, it was a perfect place to end our multi-city trip to Costa Rica.

After a wonderful trip, this accommodation near San Jose was the perfect place to say goodbye to Costa Rica. The house is very cool! The terrace is very cozy and the bathroom with the bathtub inside/outside is great. We definitely recommend the place!

This is a great airbnb. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The local people in the nearby town are very nice and forgiving if you're not familiar with customs. The place is breathtaking and surrounded by nature inside and out. Very responsive kind hosts. I will definitely stay again!

Lucy’s home was exactly what I needed. I’ve traveled the world and can honestly say her home was one of the best Airbnb. So unique but yet warm and welcoming. If you’re a plant lover, this is the place for you. The rooftop firepit, pond and huge soaker tub were amongst my favorites. I posted a video and now all my friends want to visit Costa Rica!! I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Lucy. It was just not a home, it was a full experience.

Casa Jungla was an unforgettable escape into the jungle—without ever leaving the city. I booked this as a surprise for my wife, who absolutely loves plants—and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The moment she walked in, her face lit up. Vines cascading from the ceiling, walls wrapped in greenery, and lush plants tucked into every corner... she was completely in love with the space. The home is a perfect blend of modern architecture and nature. The high ceilings and open layout let the jungle vibe breathe throughout the house. It feels like a living, breathing space. The kitchen is beautifully designed and functional, the live-edge wood dining table made every meal feel special, and the upstairs loft offered a peaceful retreat. The hosts were kind and responsive, and the place was spotless and exactly as pictured—if not better. If you love plants, peaceful design, and want to experience something truly unique in Costa Rica, Casa Jungla is a dream.

Wonderful retreat. The property is quite unique - like being indoors and in the jungle all at once. The immediate property is nestled in what feels like a jungle and you can see and hear many birds, although the surrounding area is a bit more suburban so you can hear the occasional dog and power tool. Most "nearby" attractions and locations to hike are 30 to 60 minutes away. The host is wonderful and provided some great recommendations for local food and attractions.

I was seeking a relaxing, yet inspiring space to work before heading to the rest of my adventures here in Costa Rica - this spot was perfect! I loved my week there and it is an amazing spot for anyone seeking an indoor/outdoor space. Ubers find it easily to go into Grecia for restaurants etc. I would definitely stay again!

We loved our experience at Casa Jungla, an oasis in Greece to disconnect and that we would definitely book again. The house is very tidy and super well-equipped, with various spaces to enjoy throughout the stay. Excellent communication with Luci It's a mini jungle, the perfect spot for plant lovers, we didn't want to leave. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the garden next to the Koi fish pond. We only spent one night before our departure the next day but it's a great place. very atypical with this loft aspect open to an open terrace upstairs. we loved it. this accommodation is very well equipped and very conveniently located in a quiet area. we recommend this listing. Mathilde

Beautiful place, an oasis of tranquility and harmony

Casa Jungle is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. The property is gorgeous! The house is a work of art in that it combines nature, different building materials (including storage pods), and eclectic décor. The front and back yards have spectacular plants, flowers, and a waterfall and koi pond. The top deck is perfect for just hanging out and viewing the back yard. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for two couples. We had been to the Pacific SW coast so the cool night temperatures felt chilly! Off-street parking with a locked gate made us feel safe and secure. Located not far from Volcano Poas made for an easy ½ day trip. Don’t forget to pick-up strawberries while in the volcano area. Also, location is about an hour from the airport even though distance is not that far. If you are looking for an extremely unique place to stay, this is it!! Totally loved it!

Amazing place!

Just wow! Tasteful and lovingly furnished jungle house, ingenious, many details as in the pictures and very well maintained, despite the many plants. Restaurants a bit remote, (15' car), only restaurant within walking distance is mediocre and no alcohol served. But they deliver food. There were four of us and we enjoyed it very much at Lucy's. You can also take a good shower in the stylish bathtub. It was a nice end to our vacation. Highly recommended! Nice hostess

Amazing Stay! We had an incredible time at this beautiful property! The space is so large and open, with a wonderful flow between the indoor and outdoor areas. The second floor, which is completely open to the outdoors, was such a unique feature – it felt like we were in nature but still completely comfortable and mostly bug-free. The outdoor space was just as stunning, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the scenery. We felt so at home here, with a sense of security and peace that made it hard to leave. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil and beautiful getaway!

Magical place! Private, thoughtful decoration, Uber is convenient. Several different spaces to enjoy, living/television area, work desk, upstairs den with a feeling of nature. The structure is simple and unique. Maybe the coolest Airbnb I have been to. Lucy was helpful and tolerant of my 418 questions!!

A true Pura Vida oasis in town! So much space, and so much privacy, but convenient to town as well as to attractions like Doka Coffee and Poas. It was as lovely as expected – but please note: know what to expect! It is like a mini-jungle but in the city, which means you have pros and cons to both. It is open air, so you might get bugs and creatures as well as sounds of neighbors, vehicles and dogs. That was all completely ok for us! When it rained (which was often!) it is very loud on the roof, but also very comforting to experience from the terrace or the tub. Yes, there is a kitchen, but it was an awkward set-up, and we could not get much use out of it for cooking a meal. Not a problem for our 3-day stay, but it would have been frustrating after that. Lucy is a great communicator with a positive attitude. Her place is well-equipped for relaxing, working, and exploring. We enjoyed all areas of the home, indoors, and out, and everything in between! So calming, yet energizing :)

The most amazing house and all the details and love put into it. Truly a unique and special stay. Didn’t expect the house to be “open”. Coming from Canada this is a new concept. Of course being open to the elements meant some birds and bugs. A rainstorm was amazing to experience with the rain on the roof. The koi fish pond will remain a memory. So nice to have coffee in the garden. This wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience!

Every detail of the home appeared well planned and was better than expected. You feel one with nature with all the plants in the home. The upstairs balcony was perfect when the rain came. Just had to grab my book and enjoy the sounds outside. Most every door to the home opens to the outside, which my family of four (two adults and two children) loved. We took a few naps with the doors open and the rain pouring. There were a few insects that got inside but that was ok with us. The neighbors dog barked occasionally and did wake us up one morning but that is out of the owners control. We would stay again if we found ourselves back in that direction.

Beautiful place, aesthetically pleasing and perfect for photos. I would say the only con about this place is the bugs, spiders and small insects due to the large amount of plants and the open space concept upstairs. The place is super cinematic for photos but the place could use a bit more cleaning like the linens/ bed sheets in one of the bedrooms were stained and had a moldy smell. Otherwise our experience was very positive and we were happy to stay at this airbnb

Had a great stay at Casa Jungla, it is just as beautiful as the photos and we were so happy to be able to bring along our dog. We had a bit of trouble with the lockbox on the way out but the host came right away to pick up the keys so we didn’t have to wait. Would definitely recommend!

Jungle house is a place to connect with nature, since you enter you feel the experience. It is a beautiful place with so many plants inside in each space, you are completely immersed as in a garden but inside the house, all very nice, the garden views from the tub and the room, spectacular, recommended a thousand. Words can't describe this Jungle Oasis. Felt like waking up in a fairy tale every morning. Great amenities and private. Just bring sum food and plan to stay awhile cus you won't want to go.

A beautiful place for nature lovers, all tidy and clean. First impression is quite strong for its beauty if someone is afraid of insects it is a point to take into account, but if they like them no problem. The bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms are very beautiful.

I’m not sure where to start other than WOW !! Lucy and Greiven were the most amazing hosts, very quick to respond and went way above what is expected of a host. That’s just the beginning of one of the most amazing airbnb experiences I have ever had. You feel like you are out in the wilderness with all the comforts of home. The photos are amazing of the home, but it was even more spectacular than we expected. We walked in as strangers and feel like we have left as friends.
