Place was very comfortable. Very close to beach and shops. Pool was too chilly to enjoy as it is in the shade and there are no comfy chairs to sit in outside. But that didn’t deter from a wonderful stay.

The place is perfect, it's close to everything on foot (didn't even need bikes!), while having a nice privacy. The house is clean and all amenities are appreciated! Refreshing pool, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooking accessories, beach towels, Roku TV, wifi that works well, everything is well thought out to have a great stay! Thank you for everything, we will definitely recommend this home to our loved ones. ☺️🌴🏠🏖🦜🐒🧡

Casa Mariposa was gorgeous for our green season holiday to Tamarindo. The house was lovely, everything we needed was there and it was spotless. We adored being in the pool and taking advantage of the walkability, plus it was right down the road from the diving centre so easy to get there for early morning dives. Hosts were personable and easy to get a hold of for any questions. It was great to be able to enjoy some private time alongside seeing the sights!

So glad I was able to make it back here again, beautiful home and always a good time in Tamarindo.

This place was magnificent. The location is perfectly situated just far enough away from the downtown bar areas to avoid the music, but close enough to easily walk to the town center and the beach. The other rentals around the area were quiet, and we had no problems with loud music or other annoyances from the area. The home itself was exceedingly clean and inviting, and we had plenty of room for just the two of us. I would feel comfortable here with four people total. The pool and outdoor area provided a private place for discussion, drinks, and dinner. We felt welcomed here by our excellent host, and I would hiughly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

I absolutely loved staying at Casa Mariposa! The place was very inviting and well kept. I never had a problem contacting the hosts as they were always responsive. 10/10!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! We loved the location. Just a few minutes walk to the main street and the south end of the beach. The house had everything we needed, the Internet was great, and the beds allowed for a great nights sleep. Thank you!

Working with Susan was a true pleasure. The property had a unique blend of modern amenities and some elements that felt a bit dated. For instance, using a physical key to access the gates was a bit inconvenient, especially since you had to remember to keep it with you when closing the gate to avoid getting locked out. Additionally, the lockbox that held the keys wasn't very secure, as the keys tended to shift inside, making it difficult to open at times. On the positive side, the pool was the perfect size—small but incredibly refreshing. The provided bicycles, unfortunately, were not usable due to flat tires. However, the air conditioning worked wonderfully, and the bathrooms were spacious and a real pleasure to use.Susan was also incredibly helpful with some real estate questions I had and offered great recommendations for things to do in the area. If the property could upgrade to an electronic entry/exit system, I would definitely consider returning to this property in the future.

The place was a wonderful oasis. The pool was so relaxing, and it was a quick and nice stroll from the house to the beach and all Tamarindo has to offer. I wish we could have stayed longer!
