Gem of a place with the view and the pool being the runaway highlights. Sat and had breakfast every morning overlooking a panoramic of the Guanacaste landscape and the ocean. Howler monkeys and any number of birds overhead. Everything you come to Costa Rica to experience and so very private and quiet. Great restaurants within 10-15 minutes drive - our favourites were San Miguel and El Barco. Keep in mind you definitely need a 4x4 to get here and to get around once here. Gorgeous beaches - 12 minutes to playa San Miguel and about 20 to Playa Oro. Went every morning for a long walk - always almost empty and just gorgeous. The house is everything you need. Spacious bedrooms, clean and well functioning bathrooms. Laundry available on site. Kitchen is fairly basic (could use a kettle and a toaster) but you’re likely not there to cook and it serves the needs for breakfast, lunch and snacks just fine. Hosts friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Loved our week here. Beautiful grounds, comfortable and spacious accommodations, easy drive up to the this extremely private, quiet property and the views were pristine. It was everything we hoped for. The beaches in this area are long and clean and feel remote with very few people even on weekends. While some aspects of the home are just a little dated, it was clean and well-maintained. The pictures don’t do the style and finishes justice. The variety of birds and nearby howler monkeys kept us entertained as we soaked up the sunrises and sunsets. The team took great care of us any time we had a question. Would stay here again and can highly recommend this beautiful property!

Absolutely magical! This villa near the beautiful beaches of Playa San Miguel and the Gold Coast is everything you’d dream of and more. The villa is perched high in the hills, surrounded by lush tropical trees and wildflowers, and with a stunning panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, creating a peaceful, private oasis that truly feels like paradise The pool is great - clean, large and the canopies provide some shaded patches during the hot days. The surrounding wildlife is incredible - coatis, agoutis, possums, green parrots, howler monkeys, and countless Costa Rican birds. On the beach we watched Sting Rays feeding at the edge of the tide. The house itself is impeccably clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It’s extremely well appointed with everything you need. Great restaurants in the area include our favourites, San Miguel, El Barco and the Pizza Tree. Rent a 4x4 as you will need it for the roads to get here - but it’s well worth every bump!

This Villa looked exactly like the pictures and was everything the description said it was. Perhaps one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, this property has breathtaking ocean views and a charming Bali-style home to make for an authentic-feeling tropical experience. 10/10 - I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and off-the-beaten path vacation.

Great place with beautiful surroundings. You do have to have a 4wd in order to get to the house from San Jose airport. The ferry was not the best idea. Overall though, it was a great trip.

Beautiful and magical place in authentic nature 🤩🤩🤩 The house is spacious, clean, large bedrooms and large bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, well equipped . The owner was always very responsive, thank you 🙏 even being very far away. Alfredo and Saray, the caretakers are very attentive and never intrusive. We highly recommend for those who want to discover PURA Vida. 4*4 essential for access and for all surrounding travel (dirt roads)

The view from this property is unbelievable! We loved the remoteness of the location but you definitely need a 4x4 to visit. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

The view is unmatched. Some parts of the house are a little dated, but everything was super clean and livable. Several of the nearby food options were closed during our stay, so I would plan to stock up prior to arrival. The caretakers, Alfredo & Saray, were very sweet to our young kids. It's a beautiful property!

We spent a few days at this spotless place and really had a wonderful time here! The pool is a dream and the place is simply stunning. We will be happy to come back. You should only increase your supplies properly, as the nearest supermarket is a bit away - but this is not to be understood negatively at all. You really have your peace and quiet in this accommodation. We saw great animals and had a stunning sound backdrop. Very great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The location and the view are nothing short of amazing. There are excellent lunch and dining options within a 15-minute drive - El Barco, La Cuchara de Mamilla and Pizza Tree were our favorites. Playa Coyote is a great surf spot. We had a ton of fun there. If you enjoy fresh produce, it’s a good idea to do your shopping on the way, for instance in Carmona or San Pablo.
