My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is very nice, spacious, and clean. The patio and pool are well maintained. Ricardo was responsive to my questions. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved it! Our group enjoyed the beach in walking distance and we collected shells. The swimming pool on the property was delightful and clean. We ate coconuts and cooked in the grill on the patio but It was a far drive to find the food. The home and bathrooms were clean.

Beachfront place (which I really like), securely closed residential, the house is nice, it has 4 excellent hammocks on the outside that were very well used, and the residential also has kioskos closer to the beach with hammocks that make it very nice and peaceful. Some details of having what you need for large groups such as towels, toilet paper, water to drink, but in general despite the rainy weather we experienced were comfortable and quiet, very good communication and proactivity from the host.

I had an amazing stay at el Zapote! The place was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed. The host was welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect. The location was quiet yet conveniently close to attractions. Highly recommend!

A very nice place; it is exactly as shown in the photos. Ricardo was very friendly and sent the instructions on how to get to the place and access it in advance. The house is comfortable and has everything you need to spend an excellent vacation. We were with family who came from Atlanta and Los Angeles, and they loved the place. It is a very nice beach. Everything is very clean.

The house super good located. The facilities were well maintained and matched the photos shown exactly. The bedroom areas are very well laid out, as are the common spaces. Highly recommended for large groups. Ricardo was always attentive to every question and resolved it quickly. Heidi I help us with the cleaning and cooking, super attentive and attentive to every detail. Amazing. A very rich weekend.

Great place to stay with family. Walking distance from the beach is less than 1 minutes. The pool was great for kids and maintenance works in the Villa were very friendly. They helped us get a ride to a near by supermarket and brought down coconuts for us from the palm trees there.

The facilities need a lot of maintenance, the cutlery cages were dirty, there was a covered bathroom at the time of arrival and there was nothing to be able to uncover it the next day. We asked the person who cleans the garden area and pool something to uncover it and then after a while I arrive in the place and I highlight the bathroom then I charge us $$$ for the service provided as well as for getting some coconuts down. The bathrooms also smelled like wet clothes, and the beds need maintenance even though the sheets were clean. But the refrigerator was not very clean and smelled bad and even one of which had sauce boats and other products inside. Unfortunately, on the last day there were problems with the electricity service and there was no light in the area and we had to leave the accommodation 3 hours before departure, we know this is out of the host's hands but we did not have water or to go to the bathroom so we retired without breakfast.

Veronica, I'm surprised that everything you "complain" was reported to me! I know their nuisance was at the end that the power failed but this is out of our reach! It is very unfair that I accused us that someone charged you for reaching them coconuts and cleaning when you told me nothing! No one is supposed to be charged. As for the covered bathroom, if they covered it is also out of our hands, however the staff who attend are to be able to attend, without charging them absolutely anything! All this I would have liked to have been more honest and let me know that I would have resolved it for you. Now a number of things are invented for their nuisance due to the lack of energy and mentions that they had to leave without eating, again their manipulations and lies, because the kitchen is gas, it does not need electricity, and ask you if it is that they needed more drinking water, to send you to leave more, and you never answered, definitely ill-intentioned people like you, they are not welcome! and I hope to see you again. Their review is full of lies and dissatisfactions that lose their credibility by not having mentioned them when they were in the property!

Wonderful location to enjoy the magnificent beach; we were 10 and had a great time. The only inconvenience for longer stays is the lack (as correctly mentioned on the listing) of a washing machine.

Ricardo was aware of our arrival, stay and departure at all times, the residential is private and clean, the house a few steps from the beach, located in excellent place. With the glass doors you have to make sure that they grab a key because it gives the same insecurity the windows of the kitchen that you have to put a piece of wood to lock them. Air conditioners are new and the pool is at all times clean.

the place is just like in the pictures, there are plenty of rooms and the beds are super comfortable, Ricardo 's communication was awsome he contacted us before our arrival to make sure that our check in was as smooth as possible. Heidi the caretaker is very attentive and she can also cook for you for an extra fee her food was delicious. We had only one issue: one of the AC's remotes was not working, but Ricardo send a technician right away and the problem was solve within the first our of our arrival.

The house is very cozy. The beach is a couple of steps from where the house is located. It is safe and has a good location! There are many things that should be changed. I think we were unlucky! The air conditioning did not work. On the first night, the toilet in the room started to leak water, and we had to sleep with the smell of sewage. The water leaked out of the bathroom and went into the bedroom. The TV in the living room is very old and did not work. There is another TV upstairs, but if you don't bring your computer, you won't be able to use it because there is no cable. The other TV in another room is a drawer TV that you only see in museums. The cutting boards were very old, even rotten. Those boards are used a couple of times and are disposable because they hold bacteria. It costs nothing to change them. The grill was full of mold and rusty. I had to go to the supermarket, which is far away, to buy one so I could grill meat. The coffee maker didn't work! Really, for the price of over 400 dollars that we paid per night, it wasn't worth it. It's a shame that it's very neglected! It's also in bad taste to have personal items like deodorants, combs, razors, creams, and things in the drawers. These should be stored in the storage room that they have. The cleanliness of the whole place was good! Ricardo was very kind to answer everything, but in short, he didn't solve anything! So I hope they change this so that future guests can have a better time.

A review from a very ill-intentioned lady. The house has all the amenities and has 5 bedrooms on the second floor. She writes things that are lies. For example, the bathroom was blocked and consequently overflowed. I was going to send a maintenance person to fix it, but they wouldn't let me in. However, she says that I, as the host, did nothing to fix the problem. Then he complains about the TVs, but they are flat-screen TVs. I didn't rent the house as if they had TVs, because most people don't get to watch TV at a beach house. However, there is one downstairs and another in a room that most teenagers use when they come to play with their game consoles. He never told me anything about the air conditioning that night, that it wasn't working for them, even though he called me every day nonstop to ask me about everything. However, to notify you that the air did not go below 24ºC as you told me the next afternoon!!!! She didn't call me, and she says in her review that it didn't work? Now there were only 6 people, including children. They could have slept in any of the other 4 rooms that also have air conditioning. If they had mentioned to me that the air conditioning didn't easily go below a certain temperature, I would have suggested they move to another room, but anyway, it's common sense!!! The technician arrived and the air conditioning is working. Everything indicates that they didn't know how to adjust it. Anyway, it seems to me that leaving a review of that nature saying that the property is not worth what it is, is a lie from a person with bad intentions! Your review is based on lies and bad intentions. The house is in a perfect location with a pool on the ocean side! And the facilities are in perfect condition. It's not good that he didn't like the outdoor brick (handmade) barbecue grill, considering it was raining. What he had to do was clean it before using it. By the way, the word "barbecue" is spelled with a "c", not a "k". We've had more guests. Only she thought it wasn't good. In addition, they left the towels super dirty, as if they had used them as a rug, and they did not leave the property on time. I didn't report them without any desire to harm them, and now the lady is posting that review full of exaggerations. I think it's wrong. It's a shame that there are people like that. Just read all the other guest reviews to see if the lady is lying or not. We will not allow her on our property again, and please be careful with her. She is a very undesirable person.

Ricardo was a great host. He stayed in constant communication and was very accommodating. Great family place and very close to the beach. We even got coconuts taken down to enjoy while swinging in the hammocks after a long day at the beach.

The ranch is located in a private, safe and very beautiful community. The rancho has all its comforts for a family hike and with friends. One detail to note is that there were complimentary coconuts and that the community staff is very friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommended.
