We loved the house. The neighbor is quiet and lovely. You're 2 mins from the beach! The pool is great and the beachclub is a hidden gem. We will certainly be back!

Our family loved this rental. We were constantly entertained by the local visiting creatures including monkeys, turtles and many other rare animals. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer, A/C, a smart TV and many private rooms. No regrets renting this location.

Would rent again. The home is beautiful, and having our own pool was fantastic. The walk to the beach was just two blocks away going through a keyed gate (at the back of the house), or you could go out the front door and across the street was a path through a wooded area and get beach access that way. That way was also the way we took to walk to town of Playa which took about 20 minutes. For the bedrooms, just be aware that the two small bedrooms are located inside two larger bedrooms so if you are comfortable having someone going through your bedroom to access them, you'll be fine. (We were family so it was fine. The master bedroom above the kitchen is very large, but be aware that the bathroom is behind a partial wall with no door. We had a small family in that room and they were ok with limited privacy. It may have stated that in the description and we missed it. The kids loved the pool, bikes, and pingpong table Oh, and highly recommend hiring Ruth the housekeeper to make meals!

Certainly an excellent choice for an unforgettable vacation with family or friends. The place was super nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The layout of each space is excellent. Just the perfect place for several families together. The kitchen is impeccable. It has everything you need to avoid hassles and make your stay easier. 100 out of 100!!!

Our family of seven spent a week at Patricia’s Villa the first week of April 2026 and had an amazing time. My grandchildren ages 9, 6 &4 enjoyed the pools and all the amenities but most of all they loved the beach and the fact that we could just walk there from the house was a big plus. The house was stocked with everything you could need. Can’t wait to go back again.

Patricia’s house was lovely and spacious. Ruth, the housekeeper, was very sweet and incredibly helpful, she grocery shopped and made us a few meals during our stay. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay. Great host, great home. Exactly as described.

We stayed 2 weeks in the villa and loved it. The villa has all the amenities required for cooking. It is located in Playacar, a secure complex. The villa has 4 adult bedrooms with large comfortable beds. The two largest also have a bed in an annex that is ideal for young children. The large, fully covered outdoor terrace allows for outdoor dining. The pool is not the largest but is very suitable for young children. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away. You can get to town in 15-20 minutes on foot or 5-10 minutes with one of the 4 bikes provided. The villa provides us with beach chairs and towels, ping-pong rackets, pickleball and tennis. Ruth and her husband come 3 times a week to maintain the grounds and pool. Ruth prepared us an excellent meal a few times during our stay.

Fantastic home in the best part of Playacar. Wonderfully-responsive and witty host. Highly recommend!

Patricia was very responsive from questions when we first booked to quick replies when we arrived and had a few questions. Provided great local recommendations on some good and activities. House was very clean. Overall amazing experience!
