Our stay was absolutely perfection. Everything we needed was provided for us, the views were breathtaking, the pool was amazing and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. we would highly recommend for anything staying with a family or friends. The views, pool, and ambiance were the best we’ve ever experienced….5 stars!

Place is Gorgeous with amazing views. Augustin was very helpful with a couple of issues we had. The place is beautiful. Loved our stay. Beautiful pool. Beautiful landscaping and flowers. Not much for birds or monkeys, but a few Iguanas entertained us by the pool. Felt very safe and secure. Only thing that lacked was, WiFi in house was not good at all. Using Netflix was not good at all. But we survived. Definitely recommend this place to others!

The whole house was beautiful and spotless, no clutter, lots of empty drawers for your things. We watched iguanas and green parrots from the house. We felt so safe and so peaceful the whole time. The house is 45 minutes from Manuel Antonio, you definitely need a guide and you’ll see so much wildlife! It’s 25 minutes from Quepos, 30 mins from Uvita. Agustin was so kind and helpful even with our late arrival. The house is more beautiful and spacious than the pictures. The main floor bathroom which leads to the pool area was fabulous. Do bring your own shampoo, sadly not included, but every other thing you could possibly need was provided. Lots of towels. Extra linens for the pull out couch with extra mattress to put on top, making it perfect for our son. The guest house is perfect with main floor master for anyone not wanting to do stairs, the pool area had so much outdoor furniture and a grill -made it a perfect place to relax. We had Luis and Maria cook us dinner-amazing!!

We were a few hours behind schedule for checking in and Agustin (the concierge) was in touch with us frequently and right there waiting for us as we pulled up the road to show us the way. I was expecting the road to be like the Ho Chi Minh Trail in the rainy season but other than it being a steep winding road, it was not bad at all... kids thought it was a fun ride going up and down the hill. The location was perfect for us going south to Dominical, right down the road to Playa Matapalo, or going north to Manual Antonio. As a previous review said... photos of the view don't do it justice. That is very accurate... the view was unreal. My wife and I were there with our 4 kids and I felt just as safe (if not safer) as in my own house and we live in a very safe small town. We always felt we could have reached out if we needed anything or any info but we never needed anything more than what was already provided. Bottom line... this place is AMAZING! Proof: my wife cried as we were leaving.

Great place, great location. The drive up was not difficult at all. The pictures do not do the house justice. The home is very nice, great pool and views.

The house was as beautiful as the pictures and the view was unreal. we went at the beginning of the rainy season and watched the rain come across the ocean, rainforest and then the pool. The restraunt recommendations and private chef were amazing. Glad we got a 4x4 as the driveway was pretty steep, but the vehicle had no trouble. If given the chance I would definitely return and stay for longer.

A spectacular place… we will be back !

This villa was fantastic!! The host was very responsive and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. They referred to us a private chef and he was AWESOME! They also referred to us a person to come to the villa and do a private yoga class for us which was incredible. Lastly they referred us to a tour guide for which we booked several excursions with. We felt like we were home. The only thing we didn’t like was the drive up the hill at night because it’s really scary and we made a couple wrong turns and there are several cliffs . That’s not even really a negative but just something to beware of. The concierge Augustine was very helpful as well and he lived very close to the home and assisted with anything we needed . I am a travel agent and world traveler and this is definitely one of my top 5 favorite. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This home was absolutely PERFECT. Exactly what our family of 7 was looking for! Plenty of room for all of us and so convenient to have a guest house for the kids, who had their own area and space! The house itself is breathtaking and the view, is to die for! We watched the sun go down every night and woke up to the beautiful ocean view and birds singing was serene. We had a hard time leaving to go explore around because the house was so lovely to hang out at! We had toucans, iguanas, butterflies, vultures and green parrots visit the property every day! This was one of my very favorite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in!! Would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again, without a doubt! Thank you for such incredible memories, to last our family a lifetime!

This is our second time to the area and we plan to return!! The house and accommodations were amazing. We did a family trip and had everything we needed. The kitchen has a large griddle available that we used outside for cooking breakfast. We booked several tours thru the recommended guide Alex and they were all amazing. The outdoor area was even better than expected and the sunsets were incredible from the mountain top. Kendry and Agustin were very responsive.

10/10! Casa de Leones is worth every penny. Priceless sights, sounds and views form atop "La Joya de la Montana." This is my second stay and I am already planning my third! Picturesque views of the mountain and Pacific ocean are breath taking. The property itself has sprawling, lush, tropical landscape. The trek up the mountain to the private property is impressive and was definitely part of the experience. I felt like I was in a scene out of Jurassic Park(I WISH!!!) There are many local authentic restaurants and adventures near by. Be sure to leave time to visit Nauyaca Waterfall Nature Park and Dominical beach. If you are looking for a safe, private, quiet, spacious place to call home while in Costa Rica, LOOK NO FURTHER. The owners and the hosts are very responsive and definitely care about their guest(s) experience. Many thanks for opening your home to my family and friends. Amazing place to stay pictures really don’t do it justice. Views are 10/10 from the backyard and pool. The house was great with plenty of space for my group of 10 and everything we needed for cooking (minus food) in kitchen. The Concierge Agustín was very helpful and gave us a tour on arrival to the house. The road leading up is pretty steep and I was glad to have a rental truck with 4x4, but a member of my group rented a RWD Toyota Rush and that was fine as well with no issues getting to the house. There’s also a really nice small waterfall with a swimming hole and cliff jumping of about 15ft height right up Portalón road that is lots of fun! Only downside was we had issues with hot water in the showers, but we didn’t really mind too much as everything else was awesome!

Home is beautiful, the location is great. 4x4 is certainly useful in the rain. Would stay again, great for a longer stay.
