Almicar is a nice and helpful host. He even picked me up and dropped me off from other places in the village several times. He was always available for questions and also gave me recommendations for activities. I found the yard with garden and hammock really great and I was able to relax well.

Amilcar's apartment is well-equipped and suitable for anyone who doesn't expect greater luxury. Amilcar was very nice, always responded quickly to messages and his brother even picked us up and drove us back to the stop (as the apartment is a little away and hidden from the center). It was a great fit for our two nights.

Great stay Amilcar, pick me up 1 mile or so from his house because I was lost. He did so on the fly, he was very friendly spoke English as well, and made me feel very relaxed. He was fast to respond to questions or concerns or recommendations re: El Valle, I only stayed 2 nights, next time I would stay longer as his place is equipped for long term stays.

Everything was perfect. very clean accommodation. Perfect welcome. Amilcar even picked us up from the city center upon our arrival. Very peaceful place. Regular bus passes in front of the house so very accessible. The house is in a pretty and large garden in which you can see passing in front of the terrace of squirrels and pretty birds. I would recommend this place ++ if you want to go to El Valle de Anton. Thank you very much Amilcar.

Very nice place, with a great view and patio. It's cozy and very complete accommodation.

The accommodation is super cute and has a very pleasant ambience. There is a private bathroom, but only with cold water (which is half as bad as it sounds). The accommodation is a little hidden, so it's best to call ahead and get directions. The kitchen has everything you need (cooker, small fridge, crockery, cutlery, spices). I would visit this accommodation again at any time. Thank you very much.

Very quiet and quiet place, super private

We enjoyed our stay in Amilcar place a lot. The room was nice and the garden is super beautiful. There's also a little kitchen attached that was just right for cooking our own dinners. Amilcar was a very friendly and helpful host. He even took us from the bus station when we arrived and his brother drove us into town when we left. I recommend this place for a pleasant and quiet stay in beautiful El Valle!

Amilcar’s little apartment is complete with all the basics that we needed for a couple of days. Kitchen have basic ingredients for cooking, pans, water, coffee and even cleaning products. There’s a dining area inside and also outside to enjoy the beautiful garden. The bed is comfortable, the linens used are in good quality for a pleasant and relaxing sleep. Bathroom has no hot water but we actually didn’t miss it, the cold water is perfect in this summer weather. Location is not very close to town but if you enjoy walking like we do then it’s perfect as the surrounding is beautiful. Also good to mention that, before check-in - Amilcar kindly picked us up with his car when he found out that we already reached the town, because of this we did not have to struggle in locating the apartment. All was smooth. It’s a bonus that we surely appreciated! Overall great and would recommend!

Amilcar was very nice and helpful. The place was very clean and as described. Two water bottles and filter coffee bags were provided free of charge. The only drawback is that the directions, which are on file on Airbnb, are not true. The apartment is 200 m away and would not have been findable without Amilcar. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay with a little walk to the city center. It should also be mentioned that Amilcar was very helpful and drove us for free to our other hostel in Valle de Antón.😊

Very good place for a weekend, very quiet and spacious. If they like to bathe in the warm water, it's excellent. It is very close to the main one, and it is very comfortable. Despite the check-in time, we were taken care of a thousand wonders. We would stay again.

Good place, fair quality for the price paid

Small apartment with everything you need to have a great weekend. It has a kitchen included, and everything was really clean! There was a coffee maker (with coffee), water, and touches that are fully appreciated. The apartment is left in a very nice property near the nature. For outdoor lovers (like me), I highly recommend it. Amilcar was totally proactive and very kind. The stay was super!

A simple and beautifully located place. Upon our arrival we did not find the accommodation, but Amilcar is very helpful and came within a few minutes to show us the way. The accommodation is perfectly located to explore El Valle and surroundings. We arrived by car, so everything was easily accessible. But also on foot (a longer walk) the main street with restaurants, shops can also be easily reached.

We had a great stay at Amilcar’s place. He was always very attentive and helpful, and even picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop. It’s a doable 20min walk to town, and close by to some great restaurants!

Well, sadly I had to leave earlier than planned due to some downstream issues that came up. From an amenities and usefulness standpoint Amilcar’s unit was probably one of the best I have used outside of Panama City. The surrounding area is just beautiful and from a walking standpoint I would have loved exploring had my trip not been cut short. The kitchen was well equipped but because I do very little cooking myself when I travel I was concerned about the lack of restaurants nearby. I had just started to explore and found some nice places within a 20-25 minute walk including a very nice coffee cafe; I would have been good for a longer stay (no car)!

A very quiet little corner and a bedroom with a bathroom and kitchen that allows you to have a pleasant stay. Amilcar was very nice and helped us from our arrival to our departure. I highly recommend to come and spend some time in full privacy.

Beautiful location. If you stay here, keep in mind it's about a 20 minute walk into town. If you don't mind walking, it can be very relaxing to walk around the neighborhood as the whole area is gorgeous. Amilcar had his brother pick me up in town when I arrived and when I left he took me back into town himself. Really nice stay but just keep in mind you are a bit further away from town if you're the kind of person who needs quick access to shops/restaurants etc.

Nice, quiet place (you can hear animals, but that's a nice change coming from the city). Apartment is simple, but has all you'll need for a short comfortable stay. Super nice host, arranged a ride for us to one of the hikes, which helped a lot.

Rustic little place. The sound of rain on the metal roof was relaxing. The chickens will wake you up when the sun rises. Overall a very peaceful stay. Be prepared to walk if you don’t have transportation already arranged.

A beautiful stay on a great property surrounded by greenery! It was a little remote but all the more private and quiet. In about 15 minutes you can walk to the main road. Great garden and cute house with everything you need. Lovingly furnished and clean. Gladly come back.

I loved the hospitality of Amilcar and his family the most. Because there was a spontaneous being together on the grill, with some rum and beer 🇵🇦 The cold shower was a suggestion for me to use water a little safer in general, and that you can also start the day with a cold shower.

Place at Amilcar has all equipment you will need during hot times or rain. Cold shower sounds harsh but in Panama weather, there is no problem even with that. Amilcar was very kind and picked up us from the centre of El Valle at 10pm when we arrived that day by bus from Panama city. Since his place is 25 minutes from centre we cannot thank him enough!

Amilcar is an excellent host, very attentive and willing to help make your stay in El Valle the best. I was surprised at how complete the apartment, kitchen, coffee maker, etc. She took care of every last detail. The place where it is located is very pleasant, quiet and safe Amilcar took us in his car to the entrance of Dormida India, but before in a very good way he gave us a little tour of El Valle and he was explaining everything to us. It was a beautiful experience that we would definitely want to repeat.

A little apartment in the nature, it was very nice! To find the house will be the best way, to contact the owner directly. We searched too long, but when we called him, he directly helped us, that was fantastic!

Amilcar was a wonderful host. He came with great recommendations, took us to our hiking spot and asked if he should drive us to see the sunset (really beautiful). All in all the best Airbnb experience I have ever had.

Excellent place to stay, with a spacious bathroom, kitchen, sink, bathtub in case you want to clean any clothes, slippers, slippers, and a refrigerator, a refrigerator, excellent bed for two people, cable TV, WiFi, parking in front of the room. I didn't know the place or the host at all, but 10/10.

Great stay at a larger than expected apartment. All cooking facilities included and very clean. Amilcar even brought us to the bus terminal in the morning.
