We stayed 5 nights and loved the location for its proximity to the beach. We were the only ones in the pool for our whole stay. The beach was pretty quiet as well. Ate at Soda Margarita a couple of times and some other nearby restaurants:) Kids loved catching hermit crabs on the beach 🏖️. A wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time, very close to the beach. We would definately stay again.

The 2 story, 2 bedroom condo was spacious and well-furnished, the kitchen was better equipped than I have ever seen, and the location perfect (1 block walking distance from the beach). We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Great Stay! Host communicated during our stay. They had onsite property manager meet us when we got lost trying to find the place. This place was amazing!

We had an excellent stay in Esterillos Oeste. Highly recommend this Airbnb and the location. Tracy and Ana were so friendly and welcoming. We loved all of the dogs/cats in the area. Great food as well! Vanessa provided great recommendations and was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. The beach is just a few meters away from the front door. The house has big and open spaces that makes it more comfortable. Highly recommended

We loved it here. This village is so much less crowded than Jaco or Quepos. Less touristy, but still offered surf rentals, restaurants and a couple minisupers in walking distance. We had tons of room to ourselves to play on the beach & in the waves. Like other Latin countries, sometimes there are loud local parties late into the night, though most nights were quiet & peaceful. The gated grounds are safe and are an immaculately kept garden of local fauna. The shared pool (surrounded by a hedge for privacy) was right off our front porch & we usually had it to ourselves. Just outside the gate is direct access to the beach, only 100 yards to the warm water. The house is clean and worked great for our family of 6. Our 4 sons shared the largest room with an ensuite bathroom & my husband & I had plenty of space in the smaller room, also with a lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. The laundry room was a great perk & the kitchen was great for breakfast, lunch saving money on dining out.

We loved the accommodation, private, close to the beach, spacious, equipped. Just a few small details of minor maintenance. Definitely very comfortable and Pet Friendly.

The location is fantastic. From the terrace a great view of the nearby Pacific Ocean.

We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our time. So peaceful and relaxing. Easy walking distance from the beach and the pool was great. There's a grocery store in walking distance where we picked up a few items we had forgotten. The beds were very comfortable, too. I would love to come back again some day.

Wonderful stay once again at Vanessa & David's. We had a few stormy days and went crab hunting at night, the beach was full of them! Super exciting for the kids. We also stumbled on a turtle nest with the tracks going up from the water and back down. Another fantastic family getaway! Wonderful new comfy beds as well left us well rested!

We had a great stay at Vanessa and David’s. It really is steps from the beach and Esterillos Oeste is an awesome beach which feels like a hidden gem compared to much more crowded beaches in other parts of Costa Rica. My young kids especially love the tide pools at low tide. The community is very quaint with a nice shared pool just outside the house. We had some issues with noisy neighbors but Vanessa was very responsive and even gave us a discount for the hassle despite being out of her control. Tracy the manager was very helpful - especially with our son who touched something spiky in the tide pools and she helped take care of him. It was also great to have our dog be able to join us! There was plenty of space for our family of 4, a well stocked kitchen, nice laundry room and the air mattress was easy to inflate for an extra bed. We’d definitely return!
