The best host and place I’ve stayed at so far. The place felt like a Mexican paradise in a private community, restaurants at walking distance and just an amazing view to wake up every day, The host went to check on us since an accident happened on the highway not long from there, so it was a nice gesture. Host sent a lot of very useful information about the area, house clean and tidy, best experience we could ever asked for.

Magical beach location with nesting turtles - unforgettable to see and to meet the volunteers protecting the turtles to learn more. Owner went beyond to provide great service,. We hired a chef through the owner and the chef was amazing. Could not have been more coddled. Will definitely go back. Sunrise off the balcony with a cup of tea is gorgeous. The pool was clean and cool. The pool had shade throughout the day. We used the kayaks that come with the house. Great fun to explore the cove the house is on. We also swan in the sea, including out to the reef to explore with the snorkeling gear provided in the house. The owner connected us to massage therapists who came to the house and gave wonderful massages. All in all a fabulous experience.

My family of 8 wanted to visit the beaches of Mexico but be away from the resort crowd. This place is a DREAM! The house is about 1 hour south of the Cancun airport (rental car for the week was about $100 US) and a VERY simple drive. There is only one main highway connecting the airport through Playa Del Carmen and the neighborhood street is directly off this highway. The house is 20 mins (same highway) from a large retail chain grocery store (Chedraui) and 15 from Tulum where we visited Mayan Ruins. We were able to snorkel directly outside of the house and we had a sandy beach. The security guards at the neighborhood gate and those that periodically walk the beach were incredibly discreet, kind, and friendly. This is a great spot. Highest recommendation! It's exactly as the pictures displayed it. Enjoy!

I was with a group totaling six people. We found the location spectacular. The flow and energy of the house is amazing. Everything was clean and we had all the items we needed. You can tell our host Moon really cared about the house and put her intent into the design. The pool was great. The sound and beauty of the ocean was beyond amazing. There were turtle nests on our beach. On the last night we had a magical experience as a mother came to lay her eggs right on our doorstep. One of the coolest and inspiring moments of the trip. Truly Reccomend this location. I hope to return some day soon. Loved everything about this place. Perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Akumal.

This place was amazing! No words can describe how beautiful this home is. The beach is private but very rocky and it is protected for its baby sea turtle nest. But didn’t matter because we rarely hung out at the beach. Still very nice! And private which is what we wanted. Caretakers we’re amazingly helpful and so was the host! Def will think about booking this place again in the future and I don’t leave many reviews like this one.

Great location, right on the beach and a 1 mi walk to Akumal town center, safe area in Mexico. Central area to snorkel to see sea turtles, squid, fish, coral, etc. Easy to get to cenotes - we went to Laguna de Kaan Luum, cenote dos ojos, and gran cenote. All were amazing. Easy drive to Tulum and Playa del Carmen as well.

We had a great stay at Casa de las conches. The house was even better than in the pictures and the staff Karen and Edgar were amazing! They were so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Location was great we were close enough to drive to Tulum for dinners and not too far from Cancun for a day trip. The real gem was the outside living area, the pool was awesome the cabanas were awesome, we even spend some evenings and sunrises on the rooftop deck. I’m sure there’s so much I’m forgetting but if you’re on the fence about this place I would just book it, you won’t regret it. I can’t thank the staff enough and I hope we will be able to return one day in the future.

We had a magnificent experience at this property and lacked for nothing. We were 5 couples and an 18 month old. The inside was large enough and spread out to allow for communal meals and gathering as well as private, quiet sleeping and meditation spaces . The walls were soundproof. The host stocked the kitchen with everything necessary to cook all meals. There was even an outdoor grill. We mentioned we loved coffee and were a big group. She had two full size coffee pots and stocked bags of coffee for us. She had a friendly housekeeper come daily who cleaned and did laundry. Outside is beautifully landscaped with a private pool, private ocean access, palm trees and Sandy beach. There was comfortable outdoor furniture in the sun and shade. The host had friendly, helpful groundskeepers come daily to clear and tidy the area too. Highly recommend, Moon Hee is definitely a SuperHost
