We had a splendid stay at Casa Molleo. The house is charming, peaceful, and just a short drive to town. The pool is small but still fun for the kids. The main living areas get warm during the day without AC, but the fans helped, and we appreciated the AC in the bedrooms at night. We especially loved the sounds of birds and howler monkeys in the mornings and evenings. A few minor upgrades would have elevated the stay to a full five stars, but overall it was a lovely experience. I’d rate it 4.5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sámara, Costa Rica. Claire’s place is beautiful, very nicely decorated, and conveniently located close to both the beach and the town center. The pool was one of our favorite parts of the house: we spent a lot of time enjoying it. Although we experienced a few minor issues during our stay due to it being the hottest month of the year, Claire was incredibly responsive. Her communication was exceptional, and she addressed our questions and concerns very quickly. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others visiting Sámara.

Beautiful home, with amazing outdoor space. Covered patio area next to pool was so nice to enjoy the warm days. Close to Sámara for restaurants and activities. Host was very responsive about questions of the area or setting up activities.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Molleo! The house was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. It felt like every need was thoughtfully anticipated - items for the beach, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds - all the amenities you could hope for. The house was perfect for our family of five. When an issue arose (flipped breaker that we couldn't figure out on our own), the concierge showed up in literally two minutes. Claire, the owner, was helpful and lovely to communicate with. We would love to visit Samara Beach and stay at Casa Molleo again!

Claire’s place is a rare Airbnb where you feel so relieved walking into it because it is just as described and if anything, much better than the pictures. The quality of the furniture is beautiful, the outdoor chairs are so comfy, the space is huge and feels spacious especially when you open up the glass doors. We also loved the pool, it was small but just the right size for the two of us we had many dips. There are also zero mosquitos at night so you can sit outside and enjoy the evening and the sounds of the jungle without worrying about getting eaten alive. The bed upstairs is very comfortable and we loved the view in the morning and the walk out balcony. Claire as also incredibly responsive and friendly and helped with any issues that came up. We would absolutely visit again, thank you Claire!

Large house with spacious rooms and huge living area. Everything is a bit outdated. The pool is very small but perfect for a quick cool down.

Wonderful home for our family of 4 and great jumping off point. Easy to and from town and plenty of to do. We would return if we come back to the Samara area.

absolutely beautiful place. The house is superb and well laid out. The terrace with the large table and armchairs and coffee table are very pleasant. The pool is very small but so nice! and the big bedroom upstairs is fabulous. In short, this place is great!

Casa Molleo was an unforgettable experience. From the howler monkeys who visited daily, to all the butterflies and birds that made the beautiful landscape their home, we felt we were in a jungle paradise. The house was gorgeous and the pool was perfect. Very short drive to the beach and all the activities in Samara. We were very comfortable during our week long stay.

We were surrounded by monkeys on a daily basis! Haha! (That’s an incredible experience if you’re wondering!) The peaceful atmosphere and the saturation of nature in every direction was an amazing thing to be able to experience on our trip to the Samara area! We loved having space to spread out and felt right at home. We loved it and would return easily. The addition of the bidet was 🔥🔥 as sometimes the “toilet paper in the trash can” thing is rough for some of us. 😂😉 They addressed every issue that came up in a very polite and respectful way. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a very good experience, and enjoyed our stay. The house is as described and the photos are very accurate. It is a peaceful surrounding, and we heard and saw a lot of howler monkeys while relaxing on the patio and swimming. We traveled with our young daughter and would just note for families with younger children that the bedroom suite is upstairs, with the entrance and 2nd bedroom on the ground level. the drive is steep but doable. overall highly recommend.
