While this place is in a great location and features a beautiful rooftop, our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The villa has a "cute" aesthetic, but it is much smaller than the photos suggest, and we dealt with several maintenance issues, including no toilet paper upon arrival and 3 out of 5 toilets that wouldn't flush. We also had frequent trouble with the gate code changing or malfunctioning, which made coming and going a hassle. The host was responsive when we reached out, though they weren't always the fastest to get back to us. All in all, it was an alright trip, but the property definitely needs some better upkeep.

This is the perfect location because you can walk to the ruins and it’s a quick cab ride to downtown. The host gave us a cab number and he was available every time we messaged him the whole time and even gave us a ride to the airport.

The house was okay and the Pom Rental team was responsive when we experienced a water shortage, which was resolved later that day. The location is great—close to stores and restaurants and easy to walk around. However, cleanliness needs improvement. There was hair in the shower, food splatters on the kitchen wall, and no toilet paper provided upon arrival, requiring us to purchase our own. After it rained on the fourth day, water leaked inside the house, including a leak in the closet leading to the bathroom that got my shoes wet. Some staff in the complex were also not very friendly. Overall, better cleaning and maintenance are needed, especially regarding water leaks.

I highly suggest this place for the location and convenience! They were so kind, we had an instance where the private pool looked dirty and they came within 20 minutes to clean it up for us! Thank you!

We truly enjoyed our stay, the place was spacious, clean, and very private and protected I would highly recommend this if you wanted to stay in Tulum and not have to pay the higher prices of staying on the Playa. There were a few small issues, but they were fast to fix them and very good at communicating Thank you guys for such a beautiful day. I look forward to maybe one day coming back and enjoying the place again.

We felt right at home & spend the most beautiful 5 days at Casa Selva. There were restaurants and little shops 10-15 walking minutes away. It’s a very peaceful and chill place to stay - perfect for a family getaway. The rooms were just as shown in the pictures! We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a group of 6 book this air bnb for 1 week! If one thing is for sure- the communication with the hosts was on point! We had some issues with water at the beginning but most of our concerns were sorted out immediately. The place was clean and whenever we needed anything it was taken care of! Much of Tulum is under construction as it’s booming and growing- so we were told the power may go out for a few days. We weren’t happy to hear this the day before our check in - but we didn’t lose power once! Location is good- recommend renting bikes to get around ! Thanks for having us!

We found the place very clean and cozy. However, the living room and kitchen was a bit dark, so it was unfortunately not as inviting as the pictures. There were some technical difficulties, but the host always helped right away.

Very spacious and stylish place as the photos suggest. Quiet although only just off the main road and hence possible to walk to ruins and into town. Our only complaint was lack of hot water - we contacted the host and they sent someone quickly but we still only had tepid water for our stay.

Great place!!! Highly recommend, it was spacious for our group of 6 because each room had its own bathroom and then extra ones. They had great security as well.
