3BR Villa in Tamarindo

This is a lovely home. The location is very nice and peaceful. The location is very convenient to playa Dominicalito and Dominical. We enjoyed our stay.

Cristal de Mar in Dominicalito is a perfect home base for exploring the Puntarenas, Pacific coast region. Playa Dominicalito is delightful and 5 min away with easy parking, boogie board rentals etc, and the town of Dominical is also extremely nearby with great food options including a brewery, Thai restaurant, great fresh pizza/sandwich spot, and bakery. 1h 15 min to Manuel Antonio; 15/20 min to Uvita and Playa Ballena— very convenient. Tracy’s house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need including lots of towels for all the adventures. The pool is the perfect spot for early morning and late afternoon/evening swims with gorgeous views out over the forest to the ocean. The house can be tricky to find in the dark if arriving late— traffic out of San Jose can take much longer than the maps estimate, but Geisel the house manager was in close contact through the day with guidance and simplified the arrival for us. Thank you, Geisel!

We had a fabulous time in Dominical!! This airbnb was gorgeous. The highlights for us were the view of the ocean, the pool and spotting howler monkeys (and so many neat butterflies and birds) in the backyard! It was private and peaceful and we loved the jungle feel! The house was only a 5 minute drive from the beach and a super cute cafe. We walked it a couple times (a good cardio workout on the way back up, but doable). About 15 minutes each way walking. Playa Dominicalito beach is beautiful, especially at low tide! Beautiful sunsets too! Playa Dominical is a 10 min drive, and it has nice shops and restaurants right behind the beach. We loved Fuego brewing!! It’s wavier and mostly for surfing, but it was nice for beach walks and dinner. There is also a grocery store in this area which was convenient. The hosts were readily available to answer any questions. The house was very clean, and we’d definitely stay again if we were in the area! A great Airbnb!

Tracy's place is deep in the jungle. You will hear howler monkeys every night and the sound of crickets etc. It is very close to Dominical beach about 5 minutes. You will need a 4x4 but that's standard in CR. Sleep upstairs if you don't want to wake up to the pool gurgling at 2:30am. Bring a lighter, the pilot light doesn't work on the oven stove. All in all our stay was good but could have been better without a few issues & comfortably.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy’s villa. So peaceful, surrounded by lush jungle and wildlife galore. Our 4 adult family had plenty of room to spread out in the beautifully appointed house. We loved lounging in/around the pool and viewing butterflies, many birds (toucans!) and more. Nearby fantastic beaches, national park and charming restaurants. The road up the mountain is adventurous but totally fine with a 4x4. Pura vida! Would stay again. I didn’t want to leave!

Absolutely amazing. The house was one of the nicest we have stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, view of the ocean, wonderful outdoor areas, comfortable beds, great kitchen for cooking, so close to the most perfect beach. Wish we could have stayed longer! We appreciate the host providing beach chairs and a cooler for our use. Icing on the cake, as everyone else mentions, is the fact that this Airbnb comes with a vacation dog, Luna. She loves everybody and came to visit with us for ear scratches and belly rubs each day. We couldn’t wait for her arrival! Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

What a peaceful place to spend the holidays at! We had more than everything we needed to make a gourmet Christmas dinner and enjoy our week in Dominicalito. Including a vacation dog! Luna, the property manager's dog would pop by daily to check in on us, granting our kids tons of giggles and fun. Elibeth was extremely kind, meeting us to drive to the home after hours as well as offering to guide us to local spots with less crowds and better beaches. The owner is clear you need a 4x4, but I might also suggest a high clearance vehicle. One rock and you could be dropping a muffler like we did! With that said, the road is short, and certainly not difficult to navigate during the day so don't let it deter you. The location more than makes up for the minor hassle of driving the road. Dominical is 5min away and has a fun, laid back surf vibe--definitely one of our top spots during our trip.

What a gem. This house is absolutely gorgeous. It had everything we needed for our stay in Dominical. Plenty of towels, Tupperware, beach, chairs, and views that went on for days. It was a very relaxing and restorative place to be for a while. You definitely need a 4 x 4 vehicle to get up the mountain to the house. The road is quite steep. But manageable if you have the right kind of car. The beds are on the firmer side in case that matters to you. We loved seeing wildlife in the trees and enjoying the rain when it came. This is a wonderful place to stay if you’re wanting to explore Dominical and Uvita. We hope to return!

We had a fantastic time at the house. Geisel was super responsive, helpful with recommendations and accommodating. She looked up where we could watch the champions league final which was much appreciated . The house was very clean and the kids loved the pool. It was hard to find at first as we arrived at night, but Michael met us on his motorcycle and lead us to the house. Definitely rent a four wheel drive trick or car. We did lose power for one hour but one should expect it given the developing infrastructure.

We had a wonderful week in Tracy’s house. Nested in the middle of the jungle, we woke up every day to the sounds of the howler monkeys and could even see them several times roaming in the trees around the villa. We appreciated the very well equipped kitchen, the two outside terraces with jungle and partial sea views and of course the nice pool to cool down from the beach. Of course we have to mention Elibeth for the perfect housekeeping services. And just a small comment on the steep road: Childs play in comparison to Drakes Bay or Monteverde. The road was easily manageable for us with our 4wd. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy's home. It was extremely peaceful and secluded. This was our 7th trip to Costa Rica and this one, like the others, did not disappoint. Our host was prompt and helpful at all times. The home was roomy, clean, and well cared for. All the appliances worked well and the kitchen was really well-equipped with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. The only other noteworthy thing to mention was we had two pretty lengthy power outages due to some heavy rains that are pretty uncommon for this time of year, in that area. One outage lasted over 12 hours (during the night and into the next day) and the other was shorter but still 3-4 hours. Power outages are pretty common in this area so be prepared. All in all, Tracy's home was extremely pleasant and her team: Geisel, Michael and Elibeth were super helpful and friendly. And of course, we can't forget to mention Luna. She was especially friendly and we miss her already.
