Unfortunately, I did not feel welcomed at this place. We first had scheduled a certain time to do a formal checkin and they did not rescheduled the time however they did reach out some time after. Once we met for the formal checkin they asked for our ID’s which seemed very odd to me as it is not something that normally is asked in other Airbnbs around Costa Rica and I am a Airbnb host myself. They also had stated that I had not reported that we were coming with a pet but it seems like that was miscommunication between the hosts. Also the lamp fixtures look nice but are super low to the ground which makes it hard to navigate the bathroom and room area. Other than that everything else was nice.

Sentimos no haber podido comunicarnos muy bien con ustedes, sobre todo por reglas básicas como la limpieza de su perrito que orinó más de unas cosas de nuestra terraza sin que ustedes limpiaran y aún así no le cobramos daños. De no dejarlo solo en la habitación y no circular sin correa. Tuvimos que controlar que no dejaran el perrito solo en el cuarto a escondida como la primera noche. Solo nos preguntó si somos per friendly pero no reservo en la plataforma, el host pregunto confirma.Por lo de recibir sus identificaciones es usual en cualquier hotel o Airbnb adonde se quiera sentir seguro. también pudieron entrar en auto checkin a la hora concordada no se quedar afuera solamente nos vimos más tarde para darle informaciones sobre el de el área común que no respetaron adecuadamente y recibir sus identificaciones. Por información general sepan cómo turistas que en Costarica todos los Hoteles y Airbnb declarados en municipalidad y que pagan patente y seguros piden sus identificaciones.

The place is very cute, comfortable and well cared for. The service was spectacular, always attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back.

Very beautiful place right at playa Negra. Great location for all the activities we wanted to do. We did arrive a bit early and had to wait for our 3pm check in as they did not offer any flexibility there. Breakfast is available for an extra charge and they even had bikes for rent as well. We stayed for my birthday and they decorated the room for us! Anthony and his wife were so kind and sweet and responsive. They gave great recommendations about getting around and where to go. The place is nestled in some trees and apparently in October the animals like the fruit a lot so each morning our wake up call was the sounds of the fruit hitting the metal roof at sunrise. But it did get us up and going in order to be able to explore the beautiful area.

I'm grateful to the girl, I had a problem with my pet and she was very kind and nice! So I highly recommend the place since she makes everything go well

Room was excellent for my last minute stay. Room exactly as depicted in pictures. Well decorated and very clean. Plenty amenities for a comfortable stay. 5-10mins to puerto viejo main street if you have a car. Ray was delightful as a host and a pleasure to interact with. Very responsive, respectful and helpful.

The place is as shown in the photos, which is very good, and the hosts are very friendly with everything, and they explain the rules and what you can do very well when you arrive. Actually, I think it's an excellent option.
