The accommodation is ideal for spending a few relaxing days with the family. The house was very clean and the location is perfect for accessing the beach and other nearby restaurants. Leonie's service was unbeatable. Totally recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Blanca. When you first walk in, it’s like a beautiful private oasis right in the center of town. During our stay, a family of monkeys passed by just outside the gate two mornings in a row. Easy walking distance to everything including the beach and super market. The home was ideal for our family; we appreciated the full kitchen and a private patio looking over the pool - perfect for watching the kids while they swim. Our host gave great recommendations as well. Tico Surf was fantastic, as was our adventure with Captain Frank. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

What a GREAT house! We loved the privacy of the courtyard and the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out between the bedrooms, kitchen, dining table and outdoor space. The kitchen is well appointed, the laundry worked great, the dishwasher and ice maker in the freezer are a big plus. We were here during the rainy season, and the storms can be intense. We had some power outages, but it’s to be expected in CR this time of year! The house was a cozy place to wait out the weather. Pura vida!

This home was absolutely beautiful and the perfect setup for our family of four. It had everything we needed and was thoughtfully equipped, which made settling in so easy and comfortable. The pool was such a bonus—perfect for cooling off after long mornings at the beach. The location truly could not have been better. It’s an easy walk to the beach, and having the Saturday market right next door was such a treat and a must-visit. Every morning we woke up to the sounds of birds and howler monkeys, which made the experience feel so peaceful and uniquely Costa Rican. We also really appreciated all of the amazing local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Carrillo Beach is close by tand absolutely stunning. We loved the Wingnuts Canopy Tour, Tico Surf Lessons, and horseback riding with Horse Jungle—all unforgettable family experiences.

Great spot- easy walk to the beach and restaurants in town. Private patio and pool. Property manager met us for check in and gave lots of great recommendations for the area.

We loved our stay at the Villa Blanca with our family of 4 including our boys ages 11 and 12. Although it was Easter week and very busy in Samara, this was a beautiful oasis in the center of town. The home is just as depicted and beautifully decorated! It’s a very close walk or bike ride to any part of town and the beach. The AC worked perfectly with the hot days we experienced and the pool was a hit for everyone. Definitely the best airbnb I know of in the area!

Monika's house is just exactly as wonderful as past reviewers have said -- we staid for over two weeks, my husband and I and our daughter, her husband, and a 14 month old. The space fit us well and the full kitchen (unusual for rentals in this area--we've stayed many places in Sámara over the years so we know) was fantastic. Internet and AC both worked great so one member of our party who had to work some had no problems. The house is right in the center of the small town an easy walk to many, many good restuarants and to the beach. We've stayed in houses further up in the hills that had stunning views of the water but nothing beats being able to dash over to the beach (half a block away) in just a bathing suit and towel -- no golf cart, car, or long walk uphill or along a highway required. The pool is gorgeous and great for kids, a fantastic refuge from the midday heat. All and all pretty much a perfect stay and we will be back!

This is my favorite airbnb I've ever stayed in. The home is beautiful and in an incredible location. We're already dreaming of returning! The manager Leonie was very helpful. She put together the most detailed area guide I've ever seen... it was beautiful, comprehensive and organized. This was our 2nd time to Samara but our first staying right in town. Being able to walk to everything made this trip so special. We hardly used our rental car and will likely just do an airport shuttle next time. A seemingly minor detail that is so important to me: this house had SO MANY hooks, hangers, shelves and tables available! It was so easy to settle in and feel at home. I'm glad I read the detail about lizards on the roof... we had a few noisy nights! The outdoor area is stunning and so comfortable. The pool was clean and semi-shaded for much of the day, a welcome break from the sun for our 6 and 8 year olds. Don't hesitate to book this home! I can't imagine finding a better one.

Great place to stay on a quiet street. Close to beach and restaurants. We spent three wonderful days in the house and would have liked to stay a couple of days longer.

We’re a group of 4, stayed for 5 nights. The house was very conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and bars, restaurants and shops. Still it was pretty quiet at night. We enjoyed very much the porch and the swimming pool which although small to swim is perfect to refresh. The house was very spacious and airy and very well equipped with all necessary amenities for cooking and laundry. Communication with the host was very easy. The house was better in real life than in the pictures. Definitely recommended.
