When we arrived, we were offered more accessible accommodation than the dome, larger and with air conditioning, for the same price! We were delighted with the suggestion and loved our expedition into the rather wild forest, and we even bathed in the river! A big thank you to the staff at the front desk, who were incredibly kind!

Amazing place

An amazing, peaceful, and beautiful retreat space home to gathering spaces, interactive art, wildlife, and trails. Host upgraded my room upon arrival so that I wouldn’t have to walk in the rain to the peace dome. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I wish I could stay longer! Thank you so much!

Max & Jimmy were incredible hosts! Both extremely friendly, flexible, and helpful. This air bnb is amazing! I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique experience. The volcano view, hikes, rivers, and animals are all so special. The small restaurant also had great food. I can’t wait to be back.

If you like animals and being surrounded by nature, then this is the place for you. We loved the place and the activities to do. Very friendly at all times.

What an incredible sanctuary this magical place is. One of my all time favorite stays and I have been to over 20 countries and many airbnbs. I love the hiking and river trail plus hanging bridges. The night tour with the frogs is amazing. The photos don’t do this place justice and highly recommend you stay here, it’s the zen Disneyland for nature and the room was out of a fairytale book. Loved everything including the volcano view from our room and meditation area inside. 10 out of 10 star review!

Probably the most authentic back to nature Airbnb you’re going to get near la fortuna. The host describes it as “not luxury” but it definitely blurs the line between glamping and a luxury hotel. The peace dome was the perfect place to recharge after active times out and about. The entire property was beautiful and included nice views of Arenal (if not for the fog), some immersive trails, and even a frog sanctuary! Jimmy and Javier were very friendly and helpful in checking us in, providing information, and serving a 10/10 breakfast. Will 100% return for our next trip to Costa Rica. Pura vida!

This was hands-down one of the most memorable stays I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely immersed in nature—stepping out the front door meant stepping into peace and tranquility. The surroundings were alive with wildlife: monkeys swinging through the trees, colorful birds calling overhead, and even frogs adding to the nighttime soundtrack. It was magical. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality really elevated the whole experience. And the breakfast—absolutely amazing! Fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to each day. If you're looking for a place to unplug and reconnect with nature, while still feeling cared for, this is it. I can’t recommend it enough!

A true haven of peace! Nestled in the heart of nature, this place is perfect for unwinding. I loved my stay: the calm, the beauty of the place, and the warm welcome made it an unforgettable break. Thank you for this little piece of heaven, I'll be happy to come back!

The Peace Dome is a very special place to stay. The room is small, but somehow it works. The small cathedral is a good 250 meters from the reception, but in the middle of greenery. In the morning, the howler monkeys and birdsong wake you up. Making coffee is no problem at all, you can even cook. Everything necessary is available. There is also a small cafe on the premises. Javier and Jimmy are the good spirits, always friendly and helpful.

A unique and peaceful location. Just a minute from Mistico Hanging Bridges. Ideal for a short one or two night stay as kitchen is very basic. You must appreciate nature, darkness and a few insects to enjoy this space!
