Shawn’s property is incredibly clean, comfortable and on the pool is so amazing. This unique property with guesthouse is perfect for a girls weekend, family retreat or just a space for yourself! The local restaurants were absolutely amazing and it’s a short walk to an almost private beach. After a week visiting I’m rebooking again!

Great place. Two homes for the price of one. In a comfortable walled and gated area so there is a private feeling. Beach and main town are only a ten minute walk. Food options a block away. Shawn is very easy to get in touch with and a great host.

We had a nice time with our family in Samara for 4 nights. You can walk to the beach, and on the way, we saw monkeys in the trees. The surfing is great, and there are nice restaurants. The children could play soccer on a field with good goals near the beach. The house and pool are very spacious, and there is air conditioning everywhere. The saltwater pool is wonderful and has a waterfall. Would definitely recommend it.

This is one of our favourite places we stayed on our 2 week tour around Costa Rica. The beach is a short 8 minute walk away and a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The pool is perfect to relax during the afternoon after a morning at the beach. There are plenty of pool toys for the kids and a few boogie boards provided as well. We were travelling with my parents and it was so nice to have our own spaces. Everything was clean and kitchens had eveything you needed. There is a grocery store just up the road, Iguana Verde, and you can pick up anything you need. This home is in a very safe neighbourhood off the main strip which was nice for some peace and quiet. Our host Shawn was super responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this spot for a family vacation!

Great great great!! Perfect house for our large group to enjoy some time in Sámara. Pool was always a welcomed ending to the day, kitchen was well supplied for us to cook some meals at the house. Walk into town is easy, and the beach is beautiful! Would absolutely stay here again next time through the area with a large group. Shawn was easy to communicate with, and quick to answer any of our questions.

Perfect place and even more perfect location! Easily walkable to town but still far enough out and tucked away to be private. Suites were both very well equipped and very clean - the ac was great! The pool was our favorite part - so nice to cool off on hot and humid days. Shawn was fantastic about communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is amazing, clean and very relaxing. The place has all the essentials you need. Location is perfect — right in the center, close to everything. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Shawn’s rental. The location was good, just outside of town but close enough to walk around 20mins, 10-15 min walk to beach and about 10mins to local sodas (local restaurants). The house was clean and very comfortable and the pool was very private and clean. The AC stopped working and he had someone come and repair it within an hour of us telling him about it. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The kitchen was well stocked (no oil/ spices) and he had a small book collection to read. It would be a great for a larger family or 2 families, felt safe and had some great neighbors.

Great airbnb for bigger groups, which was ideal for my big family. Having two separate houses allowed us to cook meals, shower, and rest comfortably. Shawn was a great host!

We had a wonderful stay at Shawn’s place with our family of five. Shawn was super friendly and helped with a flexible check in after a long travel day. We loved the pool and the private, spacious setup for our family. We hope to return here next year.

Units were as described. Nice pool with waterfall. Lots of room. We were five but would be great for a large family. We walked to the beach a couple of a day. Local store had a lot selection but main groceries downtown. Some good sodas close by. We were lucky to see bull riding at the local fare. Also went surfing and kayaking. Went fishing from shore with locals. Great place to stay!!
