This is a must-stay home when visiting Sámara. The home itself was very comfortable and exceeded its description. The pool was a great bonus and is perfect for families with children. The pool was also cleaned daily, Monday-Friday. As with other reviews, the home’s best feature was the golf cart making travel around Sámara a breeze! There’s absolutely no need for a rental car if you’re planning on staying only in Sámara. For planning trips to the beach, it’s important to know that you can safely take the golf cart to Playa Carrillo, which is a beautiful, peaceful alternative to Playa Sámara. That’s said, both beaches are incredible and only a handful of minutes away from the home. Communication with Leonie was excellent, and we felt very welcomed. If my family’s travels ever bring us back to Sámara there’s no other place we’d stay. 5/5 stars across the board.

We felt right at home. What a nice house this is! Wonderful beds, nice pool, everything you need is there, and the location is great. The golf cart was really the highlight of the vacation, cruising everywhere with the wind through your hair. We have really fallen in love with Samara, and this house has really contributed to that! There was a fantastic guide in the house with all the tips you need! For example, we used guide Javie, and he was a super nice guy to go out with. We spent a lot of time around Las Olas beach; that's where we felt the best vibe. I really hope to come back again, and then I would definitely choose this house again! Thank you for this lovely stay and all the tips.

Our family of 5 loved our week long stay here in Samara and fell in love with the town! The house was beautiful, well equipped (boogie boards, towels, books, everything we needed and more for cooking). The highlight was probably the golf cart and the close proximity to everything ! We were able to take it to a few different beaches and our kids loved riding in it. The co host Leonie was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb and greeted us and shared lots of insights with us when we arrived. Although we spent more time at the beach the pool was great and we used it daily. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet each night. It was so nice having the house cleaned while we were there as well. Highly recommend!

I give casa Lunita a 10/10 Close to town, comfortable beds, kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were spacious and of course the golf cart was a plus. My kids had a blast in the back yard picking up star fruits from the tree and jumping in the pool. There was plenty of beach toys, chairs and bodyboards. Also books and board games. Unfortunately for unforeseen circumstances had to leave before our check out and they were so flexible and understanding. Leonie was responsive and gave us so many recommendations. I appreciated the coffee, water jug and the big bowl of fruit and chips! Thanks again for hosting us!

This is a fantastic house, what you see is what you get. It’s especially great for families with kids. You can tell the design was well thought out. We loved the pool and the golf cart was a huge plus, I ended up returning my rental car early as the cart was everything we needed. Regular cleaning was a nice perk as well. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing Villa. We really appreciated the golf cart and hence never had to take our car. Our 3 kids loved the cart and especially the pool! Host was very helpful and communicated very well. Will definitely be coming back

Our family group of 7 all had a wonderful stay at Casa Lunita! We loved the location, the pool, the golf cart and the regular cleanings with laundry service were very much appreciated. Communication was great and we would be happy to stay again.

As a return visitor to Samara, I was familiar with the amazing beach and local restaurants. On this trip, I was introducing my husband and friends to one of my favourite places, and Casa Lunita exceeded all of our expectations. The house and casita were both spacious and inviting, the backyard, pool and outdoor kitchen made it easy to stay in, the golf cart made it easy to explore, and starting each day with a walk on the beach made it really hard to leave. The entire experience, from booking to checking in and checking out, was exceptional, and I would love to be a repeat guest at Casa Lunita!

Great stay! We had a party of 6 and lived very comfortably while there. The home is beautiful with excellent amenities, including the pool, kitchen, and grill. The golf cart made it very nice to get around town. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic! Our first visit to Samara. The house is superb, so well laid out and equipped for a group of people. The location is close to many super restaurants, beaches, grocery shops, bakeries, and other shops to browse. All walkable so you don't have to use your car. After a day out we came back and could swim and sometimes had a BBQ. There was a great book inside with local information. Highly recommend!

This was likely the best AirBnB stay we’ve ever had! Everything about it was perfect! The house is absolutely stunning. It looked beautiful in the pictures but somehow it’s even better in person. It was plenty of space for four adults and two children and it was wonderful to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The house gets a ton of natural light and it has a gorgeous view of the pool and garden. The A/Cs work very well to keep the temperature comfortable throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for anything you may want to cook, and we got lots of use of the grill outside. The pool is amazing! Our host Leonie was great to communicate with, sharing great local tips and helping with anything we needed. The location cannot be beat, in a quiet part of Sámara but within a short walk to the beach and a small grocery store just across the street. We also loved having the golf cart to get around. It was absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to go back!

So nice I kind of don’t want to review it, and keep it a secret instead! Plenty of room for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 teens) but could accommodate more, also there’s an option to add the casita if you need more space. Everything worked well - including WiFi and AC. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool and yard were the superstars - lovely and we spent lots of time outside. The golf cart is a fantastic perk - we used our car just one time during our stay. Location is great, walking distance to town on safe quiet streets. FYI it’s a residential neighborhood - if you are expecting an Exclusive Gringo Enclave on a hill, keep looking, but if you enjoy a more local experience, this is the spot. Leonie the property manager was very helpful and responsive; she gave us great recommendations - and we ran into her at one of the restaurants she suggested! Would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back to Sámara.

The host, Leoni, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. She was also flexible in working with our arrival and departure times. The house with the Casita is very centrally, located to downtown area and the beach. It has all the amenities you can need for cooking to outdoor equipment for the beach. It was also very comfortable and clean. We made great use of the pool and the golf cart. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Casa Lunita was perfect for our family - 2 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space and with the casita, we could have easily accommodated others. The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Pictures actually don’t do it justice. A/C works beautifully and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is in an ideal location - close to town and the beach, in a quiet residential neighborhood (minus the occasional barking dog and crowing rooster) with a convenient mini grocery right down the street. The included golf cart made getting around even easier. (We didn’t touch our rental car all week.) Check in and check out with Leonie (the property manager) was a breeze and the informational packet about restaurants and activities that she provides was an amazing resource. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. Would definitely rent again!
