Casa Grateful sits high on the hillside overlooking Santa Teresa- incredibly picturesque. You can watch the surfers far below with your morning coffee... or maybe head down to catch the waves yourself. The pool and slide are awesome and there is plenty of room to hang out. We did keep the AC on, but the house can be fully opened (fully screened) as well. As others noted, the gated community driveway is very steep with some turns, but after a couple of up and down trips you do get used to it! Great house- we would stay again!

We stayed for 5 nights with a group of friends; it was spectacular. We couldn't have imagined that the house would be so nice—high ceilings, wood, a beautiful pool with a view of the entire sea, a spotless kitchen with appliances in perfect condition/almost new, and super comfortable rooms with a view. I really enjoyed these days very much. Recommended from 1/10 10!

This by far was one of my favorite stays in Costa Rica. I've been to Santa Teresa a few times but this house was the best. Can't wait to come back and hopefully stay with them. Everything was absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much.

We had a fabulous family holiday. House was great, comfortable and fabulous views. Concierge service was impeccable.

Daniela was very responsive. We had some arrival complications and Daniela jumped on it and was very helpful in resolving them. She really was great.

Everything about this place was incredible. The home was immaculate, spotless from top to bottom, and the design was beautiful and thoughtfully done. The slide was a huge hit with the kids (honestly, with the adults too). It’s rare to find a rental that delivers on both style and fun, but this one nailed it. I genuinely can’t think of a single negative thing to say. Highly recommend.

Words do not describe the beauty of this house. From the moment you enter the gated neighborhood and climb to the top of the mountain your breath will be taken away from the view of the Pacific. Every inch of the house is perfect. The materials that were used are incredible. The house has wood, concrete, bamboo, and lots of glass creating such a cool vibe. So different than any house I have even been in. We had 4 adults and the house truly has 2 master suites and would be perfect for 2 families to share. Santa Teresa was so much fun. We are amazing dinners every single night and we were BLOWN away at how much there was to do. Santa Teresa is truly a hidden gem and worth the trek. No exaggeration, I reached out to Daniela to inquire about coming back next year.

Casa Grateful is the place to be. The house itself is actually nicer than the pictures. The lower level kitchen / living room is beautifully done and the bedrooms upstairs are large, great bedding/furniture, and the view from every room is AMAZING. But there’s more… I don’t think it was mentioned in the post, but there are two people who come to the house daily. One person takes care of outside (cleaning the pool, water slide, grill, grounds, etc.) and one person takes care of the interior (laundry, kitchen, cleaning, etc.). They’re both super nice and do a wonderful job. The host Tania is instantly responsive and can help with anything — booking fishing (we loved), zip lines (loved), and even a doctor when you’ve got a sick kid. We will 100% visit this house again. Just make sure you have a car as the hill up to the house is tough to walk… but this is all worth it when you see the view. It’s 2nd to none.

Great place to stay, I loved it.

Casa Grateful was the perfect home for our long weekend in Santa Teresa. It was an easy 30 minute drive from the Cobano airport, right in the heart of Santa Teresa. The house is high up on a hill, so definitely rent ATVs as it’s a brutal walk. The beach was lovely, the house immaculate. And Tania the concierge made our weekend unforgettable, helping us with last minute travel changes, reservations, activities and more! Cannot wait to return for another lovely stay. The waterslide is incredible. Sunsets you’ll never forget.

One of a kind home, with scenic view and beautifully designed. All rooms have oceanfront view. Amazing hosts and service. In a quiet closed neighbourhood.

We LOVED Casa Grateful It’s so beautiful, clean, well stocked kitchen, just like the pictures. The kids loved the waterslide. The view is amazing. The concierge service was top notch from arranging transport, to the chef anything we needed. I highly recommend this place.
