Nacho is a great host very friendly and made us feel welcomed ! The apartment is perfect for family with children since it has a patio area with locked gate . Nice and clean apartment equipped with everything you need , also located close to everything I highly recommend nachos place

La vedad no recomiendo este huésped. Llegaron más personas de las que ponía en la reserva y se enojaron cuando les dije que había un cargo adicional por que nuestras tarifas son por ocupación no por apartamento. Les cobramos una persona de menos y ni así estuvieron contentos. Tratamos de explicarles que aunque el apartamento sea para 8 , si ellos hacen una reserva para 6 personas es para 6 personas , no para los 8 que llegaron , como fue lo que sucedió. Se quejaron y pusieron muchas pegas a nuestras normas y les ofrecí la cancelación gratuita y tampoco estuvieron de acuerdo … entonces sinceramente no sé qué pretendían 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️. Fueron maleducados y descorteses en todo momento. Dejaron el apartamento extremadamente sucio , con todos los platos , ollas y sartenes sucios de comida y otras cosa que la verdad no quiero ni describir, incluso se llevaron una olla , que luego , por la noche devolvieron , pero toda sucia y seca por que no tuvieron ni la educación de devolverla limpia ( tuvimos que tirar la olla por que la dejaron inservible ). Sinceramente, la experiencia con estos huéspedes ha sido muy mala y jamas les volvería a dejar alojarse en nuestro establecimiento, de hecho hemos informado a Airbnb y hemos pedido que les bloqueen para que no puedan volver a reservar con nosotros. Aviso a otros anfitriones que lleven cuidado con ellos , parecen una familia normal pero no lo son para nada.

Nacho was extremely helpful with everything and responded quickly to any messages and questions. The place is in a great location. Just a couple of minutes from the main part of town and yet far enough away to be away from it all. The Black Sand Beach is just 1 block walk away. It was magical playing with the Black Sand. I took so many photos of it. Had so many magical beach days. I would definitely come back. I recommend it.

I would recommend Nacho and his place without hesitation. It gave us the best check-in I've had since I started using AirBnB. He is a friendly and very helpful man. The place is cozy and has 3 fans to maintain a good temperature. The rooms are good, and the kitchen has everything you need.

Mi stay here were very disappointed, Nacho attitude was very unfriendly from the beginning, he was actually kind of hostile, the place wasn't clean, and the smell of cats poop was very intense since they have 4 cats, the infrastructure was poor, we had a lot of trouble with the drain in the kitchen it didn't work at all, and we didn't want to ask Nacho for help since he was very unfriendly, so I will not recommend this place to stay, you can find a better places for the same price

Location was great. Just outside of town backed up into the jungle and 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Outdoor was pretty and place had lots of potential. However, this place was really funky. Holes in all the towels, hole in the couch, ahower curtain was super old and gross, shower didn’t drain well, dishes & pots/pans were really beat up. If these things were upgraded this place might be worth the $120! Also, They didn’t clean the bathroom/floor/kitchen once, but maybe we were supposed to ask for that too. We had to ask to get our trash, towels, and sheets changed.

Señorita , no le iba a decir nada , pero ya que me hace ese tipo de comentario , el cual me parece inadecuado y malicioso,debo informar de cómo dejaron el apartamento de sucio y de mal . No pude alquliarlo durante dos noches por que ustedes dejaron un olor a humanidad y y a aceites y esencias que no se podía ni respirar adentro. Además , tiene la poca vergüenza de decirme que no entramos a limpiar , cuando todos los días le preguntemos si querían limoieza o necesitaban algo y siempre nos decían que no , por qué siempre estaban metidas en el apartamento. Solo nos dejaron limpiar una vez en toda la estancia y cámbiarles las basuras dos veces , el resto de días fueron ustedes las que no nos permitieron la entrada 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Hicieron Top less más de una vez en la entrada del apartamento y no les dije nada por vergüenza , pero deben tener respeto y tener en cuenta que Costa Rica es un país donde esto no se ve y varios de mis clientes quedaron escandalizados y me reclamaron que por qué les dejaba hacer eso. Le repito de nuevo , si no entramos a limpiar es por qué ud no nos lo permitió prácticamente hasta el último día , cuando la basura les comía. Y tenga en cuenta que con la situación del Covid actual , no no está permitido entrar a un apartamento de un huésped hasta que hace el check out ... pero aún así le preguntamos todos los días ... que prendía que hiciéramos????

Nacho's casitas are very popular and while we were there several families were coming in and out. The location is good and central while still quiet enough. I worked both days we were there and the internet connection was quite reliable.

The place has a good location; it has no rules of silence, so if you encounter noisy neighbors, it gives hours of the morning without sleeping. It's a little unkempt and old for my liking.

Si que tenemos regalos de silencio y les tuve que llamar la atención más de tres veces , pero a veces hay gente que no entiende . Ok place. Nacho did not Come across as very friendly but he was hardly there. I think hé The cleaner lady was very friendly. We did have a very relaxed stay. It was a bit noisy at night as somebody celebrated a birthday but would stay there again

Listed price is for one person only. If you expect to have listed number of beds (5) your paying extra. No potable water, mini fridge only, cold shower and bathroom full of ants. Host lives on property and has cute kittens. Children friendly.

Nacho, he has been a great host and has made us feel very comfortable. We booked for 5 but in the end we went 4 and placed us in an apartment that has a kitchen equipped for cooking and an attached living room where to eat and with sofas to rest. The environment is very nice and with space in front to leave the car. It has a considerable range of offers (bike rental, activities and travel, laundry, etc.) We will definitely recommend your hostel to any known one that comes to Puerto Viejo.

The host was quick to respond and helpful. The place itself is a little bit run down, could use come extra cleaning, and there were micro ants in the kitchen and bathroom. However it’s in a great location and felt safe. And you can hear so many insects and animals at night, it’s pretty cool!

Great place for group of 6 people. We were very comfortable. Place is closed to the beach. Great if you are looking for place to rest after long day and you are busy. Nacho met us in person and explained everything to us. We would stay again soon.

Nacho was a friendly host, helping us whenever necessary. The place is 200m away from playa negra and 8-10 min walking distance from the town center. Overall good value for price.

Nacho is a friendly host and the casitas are a nice place to stay in and relax. It’s not in the center, so it’s quiet, but it’s close enough that you can walk there. There’s parking, so it’s very convenient if you drive there.

So happy to have a whole apartment to ourselves!! Very clean except for water that seemed to be leaking from either the sink or the fridge... We couldn't really figure it out but we didn't mind because it was soooooo hot !! The bed was cozy and having cable was quit a treat. My husband got to watch he Mayweather McGregor fight so he was very pleased. We were very close to playa Negra and a 5 min walk into town. So lovely to have some privacy and soooo much space. Oh and the wifi was nice and strong!!! Just mind the ants! Which is basically the general note for all of Costa Rica. Those little nuggets are everywhere! Just make sure you don't leave food out and you will be A ok!

The place is tidy and quiet. A little far from downtown Puerto Viejo, but easily walkable. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. Great for a family or compass ride.

The address is kind of tricky so search for Las Casitas de Playa Negra on Google and ignore the address Airbnb gives you. The lack of air conditioning is tolerable if you have a small group. There are fans. Checking in and out is simple. The bikes needed to be replaced so be careful riding them. There are bugs near the windows especially and the ceiling fan needs to be cleaned. The lady that was physically at the hotel was very helpful.

Everything was wonderful, the house is super clean and cozy, it has EVERYTHING, hot water in all the pipes, very close to the beach and downtown. The place is very nice and safe. The communication with Nacho was excellent despite being out of the country at the moment. Also communication with Andrea was excellent. He even let us know a while before that the house was ready. We recommend it!

You're surrounded by forest but you're close enough to town to walk. Nacho was helpful in answering all of our questions. There were even some wildlife and monkeys that would stay in a tree behind the property.

To my liking the apartment was a bit dirty...especially the bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Conveniently located, very quiet. The second level has complicated access.

Con respecto al cargo extra no s parece que es algo obvio cuando el huésped se presenta con más personas o fuera de los términos y condiciones que inicialmente se había contratado. Nacho is super friendly and our apartment was homey and the perfect distance away from town. The TV and hot water were a huge plus. The only negative factor is that there is no AC, but Nacho provides a lot of fans to help keep you cool.

If you're looking for a cheap place, for which the place is not too important and you don't have any expectations, then this is the place for you. The owner will never bother you either. You'll get it for your buck! In other words, you see what you get and most important, what you pay for!

La noche anterior a vuestra salido os informe que iba a estar fuera del hotel , y me despedí de vosotros. Mi mujer os atendió a la salida . No entiendo por qué dices que estaba durmiendo. Incluso habéis fumando marihuana y no os dije nada. Por favor , sean serios!! not understand your comments. i was present throughout moment for all the that you did lack. the night previous to your left you report that was to be outside of hotel, and me despedí of you. my woman you attended to the exit. not understand why you say that was sleeping. even you have smoking marijuana and not you i said nothing. please, are serious !!

Nacho and his wife were great hosts. The place was clean and secure and very close to the beach and walking distance to everywhere. They were more than helpful for anything we needed including taxi service within the community and a drive back to the airport on leaving day! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend! Thank you!

I really enjoyed staying in Las Casitas. Spacious, hot water, spacious kitchen, finally a good place. Nacho was always very attentive to us. I recommend it and if I go back to Puerto Viejo I already know where to stay.

I stayed for one night with my family but the room had all the amenities as posted. The location is very close to the town but in a quiet area and the booking process was really straight forward with Nacho, he was quick to reply and to assist us with everything we needed. I will definitely stay there again!

Las Casitas its an amazing location in Puerto Viejo, its 2min walk away from Playa Negra and 5min from the town center, good place for family and for groups. The kitchen was fully equipped and nacho gave us all the help we needed. Will visit again.

Nacho greeted us right away, showed us the room and offered his assistance if we needed anything. Place was nice, clean, had a lot of space. Checkout was at noon but because we were not leaving town until 4 he stored our bags for us as we toured around.

The apartment is great! It is super clean and equipped in every detail, it has up to blender to make rich natural smoothies!! The place is beautiful and is a short walk to downtown and the beach. Nacho very majo, he helped us in everything, he is a great host. 100% recommended

We did a last-minute booking and Nacho was great about having us just show up. The location is great: directly across from the beach, and there's even a great place for food and beer. My daughter loved the kittens. Great spot for a family of four like us. Thank you Nacho!

Nacho's place was chill, he received us late night after having to leave a really bad place, and it was a chill stay. Close to the beach. place could use a maid to clean thoroughly, but was overall comfortable.

We enjoyed the stay quite a bit! This location was great, right near playa negro. We were able to walk into town in less than 10 minutes. The apartment itself was lovely, it has a little two-burner stove, and a fridge. The bedrooms and living space looked very clean. The only thing we did not like was that the sponge in the sink was gross, so we had to buy one in town because we were unsure who to ask/ no employees were around. Also, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that did not go away. The door and windows have a mosquito net, which is so nice at night. There are mini-supers within walking distance, as well as two beaches less than 10 minutes away, and restaurants and bars. The street that the apartment was located on was a little creepy walking back at night, but we were safe. It is a small unpaved road with potholes and a lot of overgrown plants on both sides, so we weren't sure if there were animals.

This location provided everything we needed, especially in space and comfort. Nacho was quick to respond and very accommodating. The location was quiet and cozy. We were very close to Puerto Viejo town and it took about 10 minutes walking. The space was also very clean and provided the right amount of space for my family. I highly recommend this listing and have hopes to rent it again.
