I’m saddened to have to write a negative review, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We were a group of three people, yet when we arrived there were only two bath towels provided. Although the listing advertised two beds, one was extremely small for two people and the second “bed” was actually the sofa, which was in terrible condition. It was broken, dirty, and had undefined stains on it, like the ceiling. We also found a cockroach in the apartment. After contacting the host, they eventually provided us with sheets for the sofa, but after a long flight this was not the kind of welcome we expected. The communication was quite poor. I contacted the phone number provided to arrange the airport shuttle, but never received a reply. Furthermore, the rooftop pool I was the most excited about was closed, and we were never informed of this before our arrival. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.

They're charging me $26 for a soap dispenser that I had to buy because they don't know how to screw it to the wall, and when I arrived it was on the floor (they want to charge me for it instead of screwing it on). They're complaining about a piece of paper on the ceiling that I don't even know how it got there. Apparently, the cleaning team either throws things up to the ceiling or left it there before. They're complaining about that, too. The worst service I've had as a tourist in all of Costa Rica. By the way, the pool doesn't work. Don't let them lie to you. It's empty.

Everything was very good during the stay. I loved it. The only thing is that I didn't know the pool was under maintenance until I arrived to stay, and there was no more toilet paper. Everything else was fine.

- We ordered groceries & take out food our first night . We went to take a shower and came back and all of our food was covered in ants and we had to throw it away - we were not told that there was a plumbing issue here . We peed and flushed the toilet and it was stopped up . The shower was also stopped up as well so it’s clearly a plumbing issue here . - we found out about the shower plumbing issue when I was washing my hair and cleared my eyes after the first shampoo and saw that the water was not draining and went over the short wall and soaked my backpack with my clothes in it . So I spent the first morning here going to the store to purchase new clothes for us to wear during the trip - we called the Airbnb host to report the issues and they ignored the ant issue and loss of our food and told us that it was not their problem & not much of an issue even though we wasted money on groceries and food that we had to throw away - the pictures for the residence made the place loo

The bedspread was dirty, like it smelled of vinegar. I wrote asking for another one to be brought, and they didn't help me with that; in the end, I couldn't sleep there.

The apartment met my expectations and was functional for a two-day work trip. I didn't need to request assistance or use the amenities. As an opportunity for improvement, I would suggest replacing the bed, as it could provide a better rest experience.

The apartment looks nice and clean; however, the shower has a drainage problem, so the water pools and floods the bathroom after 5 minutes of running. Also, the apartment is not well equipped, and they don't provide basic items like napkins. On the other hand, the location seems to be in a nice, safe, and upscale area, but in the building, we encountered several people who looked suspicious and even appeared to be under the influence of drugs. It doesn't feel like a safe place; we even had to share the elevator with 3 people who were using substances and were under the influence of alcohol, going from floor to floor, and we felt very unsafe. Furthermore, the building's security personnel did not seem to be vigilant in these situations.

The place is in a great location and has a beautiful rooftop area. The apartment is cozy and well organized. I would suggest upgrading the bed, as it may not be very comfortable or spacious enough for a couple. Communication with the host could be improved, but overall it was a good experience. I would still recommend this place for a short stay in the city.

Difficult communication, not clean, not suitable for 2 people, we could not shower because the shower drain filled up and overflowed after 1 minute, coming in was the worst, we had to hand over our passports and photos were taken of our passports, because there is a lot of passport fraud we found this very bad to do, felt like an invasion and theft of our privacy. Furthermore, we had bad info to be able to find it, so drove several rounds by taxi. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The apartment looks a bit deteriorated: the paint is in poor condition, the chairs are rusty and when we entered we found the pictures crooked. The description said there was oil, salt and pepper, but there isn't. It also indicated that there were wine glasses and glasses, but there is only one glass. There are no kitchen towels. It said there was an oven, but there is no oven. The microwave was dirty, full of grease, and there was hair on one of the walls. As for the kitchen utensils, there are no knives. There are no sheets for the sofa bed and the pillows are without covers. The stove doesn't work and the cord underneath smells burnt. The shower is clogged and the water is stagnant. I wrote to the host and didn't get a response. We hope you can take a look at it and improve it.

My stay was really satisfying. If I return to San José, I would definitely stay here again. The location is excellent: I was able to walk to La Sabana Stadium. The place is very well equipped, with a stove and refrigerator, which made the experience even more comfortable. As a suggestion, it would be ideal to have a fan in the room, especially for those who are sensitive to heat. Other than that, the host was very helpful at all times. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay but not as much as I would have, had I got the original apartment I booked. I was with a friend and we booked going to use the bed and couch to sleep but were told to go to another apartment for the first night. We then had to wait the next day till noon to switch apartments and could t do much with our morning in San Jose as we had luggage. In the end both the apartments were nice and clean, it was just very inconvenient.

The stay was excellent. The place was very clean, tidy and as shown in the photos. The location is convenient and safe, close to everything you need. The host was very helpful, responded quickly and was always willing to help. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

When booking (months before) to make sure, I asked if the accommodation had parking available, the host told me that it did not (although it is offered in the listing) but said that I could park outside the building. When I arrived at the accommodation on the day of my reservation, there were no parking spaces available, and the ones that were available were assigned. If you park without authorization, you get fined (we almost got a fine, luckily the officer was considerate when we explained the situation). The host never mentioned that the available parking lots were quite far away (several blocks) to load luggage and purchases to the accommodation, and they were also paid and with closing hours. At first he replied to my message saying he would ask in the lobby if I could park, then he stopped responding. I was never able to access the accommodation because I had nowhere to park. I had to find another place to stay, luckily we found only one available. If I hadn't found another one, I don't know what would have happened.

We loved it. It was perfect for our last 2 days in Costa Rica. The place was very clean and our host checked in with to make sure we were ok and didn’t need anything. There is a pool and cook area and also game room on the roof top that you can reserve privately for hours . Def would stay again❤️

The apartment was as described. Very good location, many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately, the apartment was not very clean. Lots of hair in bed, on the floor and dirty dishes. There was no subsequent cleaning.

Super delighted with the area, really a recommended place, the space is comfortable for a couple and has everything you need to make your own meals. They could improve the bed, it really is a bit old and when you move in the early morning you can hear certain misalignments in the assembly.

This place was everything it is advertised to be, the only negative for us was that the furniture was not great quality. both the couch and the bed were not very comfortable. we woke up with back and hip pain every morning. other than that, it's exactly as advertised. super easy to find and to get food delivered or call a cab to because the building has a name and comes up in location searches. 24/7 reception/security. beautiful rooftop pool area. down the street a couple of blocks was a great restaurant where we had pinto for breakfast everyday. Definitely would recommend, and would stay again despite the bed issue.

We had a pleasant stay at Pedro’s place, he was a great host, beautiful small apartment with everything we needed I would recommend Pedro’s place for short term stays for sure, close to the stadium and the city.

Everything is very good with check-in and reception. The comfortable apartment, however I mention some details to improve. The shower gets stuck, doesn't drain and the water stagnates. The glass coffee table had a broken corner and I think they should fix it as it is dangerous. Outside of these two details, everything else was fine.
