Casas de la Casas was an incredible place to stay! The photos truly don’t do it justice. The home is even more beautiful in person, with breathtaking views and plenty of space for our group of seven to spread out comfortably. The property was spotless, and Olmar was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. A couple of things to know before booking: because of the HOA, you’re only allowed to use their recommended private chef if you plan to hire one. Also, a 4x4 vehicle is absolutely necessary to access the property due to the steep roads. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful and spacious getaway.

Fantastic house, with great view!

We were 8 people — two families with two teenagers each. The house was very spacious and provided privacy and a central space that was comfortable and a great place to hang out. The grounds were stunning! Incredible views, beautiful sunsets, lots of wildlife. We all loved it! You need a 4x4. It would be impossible to get to the house without one. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Ignacio’s house for Christmas and it exceeded all of our expectations. Sometimes, Airbnbs don’t quite live up to the photos, but this place was even more beautiful in person! The view was gorgeous and each person had their own room and bathroom separate from the main house. We also felt very safe with the gated community. We booked a chef for breakfast and dinner and he was incredible! Olmer also took care of booking our rental car and excursions. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back!

Can’t recommend this villa enough! It was absolutely beautiful, so spacious, and felt so private - like our own little slice of Costa Rica. The concierge was extremely helpful in planning our trip and very responsive while we were there. The private chef service was 10/10 (request Hans, he was amazing!). Hope to be back soon!!

The home was beautiful and located in a very safe gated community. Finding it at night was a little tricky but concierge met us the first night to guide us and let us in. Check in and check out was easy!

My family had an amazing experience throughout our stay. Everybody was blown away on Initial walkthrough and continued that way. From amazing sunsets in the pool to monkeys in the front yard coming to say hello. Olmer (concierge) was also fantastic and communicative throughout our stay. So much to do in the area with great recommendations and easy setup through Olmer.

Ignacio’s place was truly outstanding. Having lived in the area for many years, I can say the home is perfectly nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking ocean views from the pool, the main living spaces, and all but one of the bedrooms. The one room without an ocean view instead offers a lush, jungle-like outlook—like peering through a porthole into the rainforest. The home is located in a gated community with 24/7 neighborhood security, providing peace of mind and a sense of privacy throughout our stay. We were informed in advance that a 4-wheel drive vehicle would be necessary for access, and that recommendation proved absolutely accurate. The covered parking area is spacious and provides excellent shelter for loading and unloading in any weather. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed to prepare great meals, and the home’s location is ideal—just a short drive to the beach and the nearby town of Dominical.

House was amazing. Location perfect for exploring in all directions. Olmer, the concierge, was the absolute best! Would stay here again without hesitation.

Ignacio’s home was lovely and exactly as pictured. My family of 6 stayed for 6 days and enjoyed coming here after a long day of extreme excursions. The rooms are individual suites outside the main living area not connected to the main home which felt very private especially if your party has multiple couples. The view was beautiful and peaceful we saw many lizards, birds, and huge caterpillars. Host was very communicative and responded quickly to all my many questions. The trip from SJO to the home took us about 3hrs but we were very happy with our location selection-everything we wanted to do was close by the furthest thing we traveled for was 1hr-45min. I highly recommend this AirBnB!!

Our stay was enjoyable, the view and surrounding forest was beautiful. The pool was great, the bedrooms were great, the air conditioning was really good and very quiet in the bedrooms. My only complaint was that the frying pans in the kitchen were awful. They should have been thrown out long ago. The gas grill outside was spotlessly clean (a good thing) but there was no way to light the grill. With no smokers in the family it was even more challenging as the "clickers" to start the grill were all bad. Other than that, the place was amazing and I would return with only my own frying pans and fire! Thanks to Ignacio and Olmer for their hospitality!
