We were a group of 6 and stayed one night at Laura’s house. Everything went smoothly, and the house was definitely worth the price. We'd love to come back

Well located place in the Potrero area, with a super good distance to beaches. Good places nearby and a quiet area. The house is new and has plenty of space. We loved it and will definitely recommend it.
The place was very nice and clean. Great location to Potrero and Playa Penca! The pool and pool table was great to enjoy and the beds were comfortable.
Lugar is attractive, comfortable, worth visiting, in general it is very good.
It was a lovely home. The kids loved the pool, basketball court and pool table.
My family had an amazing weekend. El lugar nos encanto; por ello la calificación. Si, se nos presentaron problemas con waze; perdimos la señal varias veces durante el trayecto y las instrucciones no eran tan precisas; por lo menos para nosotros. Otro detalle es la carretera de acceso; especialmente durante la época lluviosa; puede ser un poco difícil para carros bajos. Pero a pesar de eso; la casa lo vale. Gracias Laura. My family had an incredible weekend. We loved the house, hence the rating. Yes, we had problems with waze; We lost the signal several times during the trip and the instructions were not that precise; at least for us. Another detail is the access road; especially during the rainy season; It can be a little difficult for low cars. But, despite that; the house is worth it. Thank you, Laura.
Laura was a great host. Able to get us in sane day last minute after we had a bad experience at hotel. She was very attentive and responsive. The house was perfect. So beautiful modern and clean. Had all things needed in the kitchen. The pool was clean and great. Peaceful and secure location.
Be careful when booking here. The side by side is pictured beautifully next to the pool but when we checked it the host told us it was for “personal use” but she would consider renting is to us for $150 a day. We couldn’t enjoy the pool due to the construction directly across from the house with lots of workers and 0 privacy .But that wasn’t the worst part. As we fell asleep, one of the guest rooms was infested with a family of highly venomous Scorpions! We didn’t discover this until after midnight. The host responded quickly and reimbursed us but told us we needed to leave immediately at that point it was 1am and we had 11 ppl we tried to find a hotel everyone was sold out. We stayed on the clean mattresses in the living room on the floor until 6am. She messaged us and said she should have called the cops on us! I was shocked that she would even threaten that after the horrible experience we had from start to finish in this home. Terrible experience.

We would like to address each of them comprehensively. 1. **Scorpions**: Costa Rica is a tropical country where scorpions are naturally present. However, the species here are non-venomous. We regularly fumigate our property to minimize such encounters, but there is always a slight possibility of their appearance. In your case, and the only time these have appeared in our beach home, only two scorpions were found. Our housemaid thoroughly inspected the entire home after you left, and no additional scorpions were discovered. 2. **Immediate Action and Refund**: As soon as you informed us of the situation, we contacted Airbnb and requested a full refund on your behalf. We did not ask you to vacate the property during the midnight hours; however, you told AirBnB that you wanted to leave immediately. Instead, we offered for you to stay until the morning at no extra charge. You actually stayed until 9am. Additionally, you moved all our heavy mattresses to the living room area and left them there. 3. **Side-by-Side**: Our listing does not advertise the Side-by-Side as available for personal use. However, we will update the listing to specify that this vehicle is available at an extra cost. 4. **Neighboring Construction**: We cannot control construction activities on neighboring properties. The construction site across the road has minimal impact on our property, which is fully fenced. The workers would have to cross the street and deliberately peek in to see inside our property. 5. **Efforts to Accommodate**: From the moment you arrived, you expressed several concerns, and we made every effort to meet your demands and accommodate you. We have never had issues with any of our previous guests, and we handled your situation with the utmost care and responsiveness. We hope this clarifies the actions we took and the conditions of your stay. We strive to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests and regret that your stay did not meet your expectations.
