MarAzul is awesome. The house and the location were exactly as described, maybe even better. Loved walking down to the beach and spending time in the pool watching the sunset. Jenelle and Nelson, the caretaker, are very responsive and helpful. I’m already looking forward to our next trip to Nicaragua and to MarAzul.

Casa Marazul is an absolutely stunning place that surrounded by raw nature. With the sound of the ocean crashing on the rocks at night and zero light pollution to see the stars over the ocean is incredible. The property caretaker on site is a wonderful man and keeps the place spotless. The Pool was cleaned daily. I would 100% recommend this location to anyone looking for peace and access to amazing surf just 7 min drive from the property.

Excellent place and service; Nelson, the caretaker, was very friendly and responded quickly to our needs. The place is very quiet and very clean; the rooms are comfortable. I would definitely go back without a second thought.

Casa Marazul is the perfect spot for a family vacation! We had our 7 month old with us and the protected tide pools in front of the house were perfect for him. It was also super walkable to surfing and only about 20-25 minutes to walk into town. We loved the pool but wished there was an umbrella stand that could give a little bit of shade in the pool. The outdoor living area was so nice and the kitchen was well equipped. A previous review had said there was a small fridge and no freezer but that has been changed and the fridge and freezer were great! Nelson the property caretaker was super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed having him around. Hopefully we will be back!

Amazing house!! Great views, a clean and well kept place. I went with my family of 6 and we all enjoyed so much, and hoping to be back. Easy to get to, about 2 hr drive from Managua, instructions were very clear on how to get there. Roads seem to be in pretty good shape, no need for a 4x4 (has happened to me before) We were able to get shrimp and lobster from the Acopios and it was very affordable. Nelson was very helpful and always ready to help.

Very nice experience, Casa Mar Azul undoubtedly offers a clean, pleasant, comfortable and fully equipped environment, we went as a family and had a great time, I totally recommend the place. Nelson was very attentive, always available to help with whatever was needed, Jenelle thank you very much for letting us stay at your house, always responding promptly to inquiries.

Wow! Great house and Mr. Nelson's service was wonderful. I would recommend in future remodeling to put a roof over the pool for the sun and to purchase a freezer. The refrigerator is very small for large families and getting ice in town is a bit difficult. But we spent 4 wonderful days and Jennelle was a very good host. We hope to return!

I love El Transito -- our family has been coming for years to the beach and this year was extra special since my parents were celebrating 50yrs of their wedding anniversary. We splurged and rented this beautiful home for a weekend and we just had a blissful time. We arrived earlier than expected, but we were able to drop off our bags w/o issues. Nelson was fantastic -- very humble and super friendly. He showed us around the house and the property. The home was huge and spacious, we took all food and took advantage of the nicely stocked kitchen and grill. The pool is immense and beautiful..I love that it overlooks the beach...I spent every waking hour in the water. The rooms and bed are very comfortable -- we didn't know how to work the cold shower I'm the bathrooms, so that should be looked at with instructions with future guests. My entire family had a fantastic time in Marazul.

Amazing stay with gorgeous pool and view of the ocean! This is our second time staying at Casa Marazul, and it was wonderful again. The caretaker, Nelson, is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

The house was very nice, the whole staff was very attentive and kind, only an air did not freeze very well, but otherwise it was very good, my family and I liked both the facilities and the atmosphere, very nice sunsets could be seen 😄
