We had a great time at Nahuel's place. The surrounding is beautiful and a short walk gets you to the beach or into the forest with some sloths and monkeys. The monkeys also greet you every morning with their sounds. We took a tuktuk from Puerto Viejo which cost 4000 colones. We also rented a scooter nearby which was great to get around. However, there are many great restaurants in walking distance. Also, Nahuel was very helpful with the questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place!

I came to PV for a week of wellness classes so the bungalow was my "home base" for food, sleep and bathing. It was perfect for what I needed as a solo traveler. The kitchen was equipped with plenty of utensils and cooking equipment. There were no basic staples (oil, salt, etc). so if you plan to cook make sure you make a stop at the grocery store. I loved the outdoor shower! The bed was fairly comfortable and although it is a smaller, rustic accommodation I felt clean and cozy here. Nahuel was very communicative and helpful. Two things I wish I knew was that it is directly off the main road, as well as next to a big hotel, so there is noise at different times of the day. There are also other dwellings right on the property only some 10-30 meters away, so privacy is not optimal. However this did not impact my time here as I was not here many hours of the day. Wifi worked great and there's plenty of things (restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, bike rental) within a 15 min walk

The location was as described. There were guests in the adjoining house that were friends of the host. They were very friendly couple who were very helpful also!

I stayed here for almost 5 weeks and loved it. If you like it a bit away from the trouble but still be close enough to it, this is your place. Really a hidden gem. Thank you a lot 🙏

The host is really responsive and the house is in very good conditions, next to one of the most beautiful beaches within walking distance. The house is not in a private property though, you do share space with two other near by houses,it made it lose a bit of privacy but other than that, it’s a very well equipped and clean space. The location is perfect. They hosted our two border collies just fine and the wifi was super stable even for working situations. Perfect for 1 or two people max.

My partner and I stayed at Nahuel’s place for a month in October and we’re so thankful we did! It was exactly as described and very close to a secluded beach. It is located in a very safe area. There is a mini mart 10 min walk away, but you will definitely need a bike or preferably a moped to get around. P.V. is about a 10 min drive away. Any questions or issues we had, Nahuel was always quick to respond and so nice. He was super helpful and answered/fixed everything! This is someone you want as a host! Both my partner and I worked from home while we were there. The wifi was good as described. A little slow for what we’re used to in the states of course but we are in Costa Rica. There was amazing wildlife all around - including bugs. This is out of the hosts control but if you haven’t been to a tropical place before be prepared for mosquitoes. Overall, best stay ever. Thank you Nahuel + Vanessa! Come to this place! We will be back for sure. :)
