Perfect we really enjoyed the stay

We absolutely loved this home—one of the best places I’ve stayed in Costa Rica. The location is perfect: close to everything, yet quiet, private, and peaceful. The house is very clean, comfortable, and has such a calm, relaxing feel. The birds visiting throughout the day were so special—just sitting and watching them was incredibly peaceful and made the stay feel unique. The host was amazing—so friendly, warm, and welcoming. Truly one of the best Airbnb hosts I’ve experienced. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Alexander is a lovely host: always a little touch that makes you happy! You have to meet him!! As for the accommodation, it was perfect. We could watch the birds in the morning on our terrace, walk (2 minutes) to Playa Negra to swim, and walk (3 minutes) to the city center to eat. In short, this place is perfect; we found it hard to leave. I highly recommend it!!

We had a really great stay with Alexander! He was incredibly friendly, helpful and always available. From the very beginning, we felt welcome and in very good hands. The place itself was very clean, cozy, and lovingly furnished – you can tell that a lot of attention is paid to detail here. The surrounding area was particularly impressive: You could observe lots of birds right on the property and even spot other animals, which made the stay extra special. We would come back any time and wholeheartedly recommend Alexander's place! 🌿🦜

Alexander’s place is tastefully decorated with lots of little touches that make you feel comfortable and create a cozy atmosphere... but my favorite spot was, of course, the terrace – a magical place to have lunch, enjoy a nice cocktail, or just relax in the company of the birds and the forest’s inhabitants! A haven of peace and tranquility.

Very nice place to stay. It was wonderful to be able to have breakfast on the terrace, with the birds, in a super cozy setting. The location is also excellent, close to the beach and the center. You can walk home safely in the evening. Alexander is a very gracious host and offers good advice.

Very nice place to stay. Fresh coconut and bird watching at breakfast - fantastic. Air conditioning was not really necessary in March, the house is built so that it cools down halfway at night. Puerte viejo is within walking distance, to the beach (cocles) better by car.

Alexander was very welcoming and he has created a nice little oasis just a short walk from town and nature around you. I can very much recommend to stay with Alexander. My boyfriend and I felt at home right away.

Alex was a welcoming and responsive host. Felt safe there during our 9 day stay. Close to town. The apartment is as described. Small and comfortable. Note that there’s no air conditioning.

A spectacular, beautiful, quiet place, super close to all the beaches, restaurant and shops, we didn't even have to use the car, the apartment is amazing, comfortable, super quiet and the surroundings are very pleasant. Alex is speechless, a super friendly, respectful, and very attentive host, when we arrived he gave us beer at dawn, he gave us cold pipe and coffee, we are very grateful with him, I definitely recommend him 100%.

The place was perfect for the start of our vacation in Costa Rica. In the immediate vicinity of Playa Negra. Due to technical issues with our internet, we were unable to communicate with Alex regarding our arrival time. Sweaty and late, we arrived late afternoon and were warmly welcomed. After we moved into our accommodation, we were greeted with fresh coconuts. Wonderful! The communication with Alex was very easy, uncomplicated and always very friendly. The place corresponded to the description and thus also our expectations. The location is really awesome. You can hear the sound of the sea but also the sounds of the jungle. Pura Vida!
