We 100% recommend living the experience! We were very happy enjoying the river. It was a short stay, but we were able to rest, disconnect, and have a very pleasant time with family. The facilities are very nice, but the most special thing is the nature. The garden is full of flowers, and having direct access to the river makes this accommodation a truly unique place.

We had a great stay at Fenix West/East! Easy to get to the beach and lots of good coffee and restaurants near by to enjoy. Anisa is a fantastic host and very helpful! If you are going to playa de coco make sure you check this place out.

The grounds are breathtaking! We enjoyed finding wildlife right there- there was a toucan when we arrived, butterflies, hummingbirds, and even a poison dart frog. We loved the private stairs right down to Rio Celeste. It was like a little hidden paradise! I only wished we stayed more than one night!

The Blue House is a wonderful place to sit back, relax and enjoy being somewhere special. The garden was full of butterflies when it was sunny and dart frogs when it was raining! The steps down to the river open up an area that feels totally private, your own Costa Rican river and a lovely place to stay cool during the day. The Blue House was spotless and beautifully presented, the fire pit was enjoyed by all and overall we all enjoyed our stay. Anisa recommend a night walk which we all found huge fun and can also recommend.

We had a great stay in this home. It has a nice outdoor space, so we could enjoy eating outside and playing games and roasting the marshmallows in the evening that were already ready for us.

We loved our stay at the blue house. Besides it being a little difficult to get to, it is worth the bumpy drive. It’s very private, a beautiful garden and private river access. The house was spacious and cozy. Anisa is a great host with lots of helpful suggestions. We loved the river tubing adventure.

The Blue House was superb and unique. The beautiful garden, the flowers and the shrubs—everything was well thought out. A quiet and relaxing place immersed in nature. We really appreciated the brazier for a comforting moment. It's a house for enjoying nature and connecting with it. The friendly lady who sells her homemade cheese is excellent!!!

We had a two week vacation in Costa Rica and stayed in 5 different towns and in 5 different properties and The Blue House was by far our favorite! It was very private on beautiful grounds. Being able to walk and get into the river was a highlight of our trip! This was our first time to Rio Celeste and it has now become one of our favorite areas and it has a lot to do with Anisa’s recommendations of things to do in the area. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night with the sound of the forest! The sleeping areas were comfortable, showers were hot and kitchen was well equipped. If you’re looking for a place in Rio Celeste - this is the BEST!

A great stay! Beautiful grounds to walk around and truly impressive craftsmanship around the house. We had three young kids with us and they felt safe and whimsical - such a beautiful space! The private river access and bonfire really took it over the top - such an incredible, secluded, and special property!

All I can say is WOW! I’m only sad that we couldn’t stay longer. When you drive onto the property you first notice the beautiful landscaping. The house is tucked back from the road and has wonderful outdoor seating - multiple clusters of chairs and a gorgeous table with seating for at least 8. There is a great set of stairs down to the river. Even though we visited after a lot of rain, the blue was still vibrant and we were able to wade in. While relaxing in the river one morning, we saw a monkey, a very cool frog, many birds and giant blue butterflies. We took advantage of the marshmallows and fire pit to enjoy s’mores to end our night. Inside the house was clean and had all the basics we needed for our stay. Make sure you take note of the directions because it’s not easy to find without them! We would definitely recommend!!!

Anisa's place was perfect for our large family. We rented both sides. We came from a week in Nosara and wanted to be close to the Liberia airport for our return home. 10 miles = 30-40 minutes drive time in Costa Rica. Playa de coco is ok, but Anisa's place made it even better! Be aware the merchants hound you when at the beach. I know this is how they make a living but it was sooooo aggressive. Don't fault Anisa for that! Her place and the pools are amazing!!!

Anisa's yard was beautifully maintained. There are so many beautiful plants. My kids enjoyed searching for poison dart frogs. The recommended tubing trip in the area was a must do! Anisa is an incredible host who cares deeply about providing a great experience!
