3BR Villa in Playa El Coco

Jessica

Excellent, 3 weeks ago

Very nice house close to the beach. We enjoyed it and would definitely rent it again!

The place/location is perfect with ocean views, the house has many beds, you can cook very well, what I do recommend is air conditioning, because in summer the bedrooms are very hot since there is too little ventilation through the small windows, for a good price/quality ratio it would not be bad to consider installing air conditioning. Very nice colonial style house, nice terraces with very nice materials, it would be worth giving better maintenance to doors, drawers and lastly I recommend a second hammock, these suggestions with the intention of improving the place. Casa Malinche is nice, pleasant and in an excellent place to rest. Apart from my suggestions, I recommend the place and the communication with Fidelina was excellent.

We were two families traveling with kids and teenagers, a total of nine people, and Jenny’s place was perfect for us. The house is just 50 meters from El Coco Beach. The beach itself is amazing — in the late morning hours, I often felt completely alone on several kilometers of coastline! The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. You can also buy fresh ocean fish directly from local fishermen at very good prices right on the beach in the morning when they return from the sea. Jenny provided helpful tips about local restaurants and grocery stores, which made our stay even better. This trip created unforgettable memories for all of us!

We spent a beautiful week at Casa Tora and Playa el Coco with our two children aged 5 and 10. Swimming in the sea several times a day, lounging in the hammocks, exploring the rocks, watching the crabs and other sealife, and enjoying the many outdoor spaces the house has to offer. The house is well equipped and beautifully clean. The listing is very accurate, Jenny and Winston are very responsive and keen to share local info, and there is a housekeeper available should you need it. A new road is under construction which will certainly make the journey easier for anyone who like us does not come in a 4x4 - but it may mean the otherwise deserted beach becomes a little more populated! The noise of the construction traffic was a constant companion, though it did not bother us (or the howler monkeys!)...and the sound of the immense sea was louder.
