Excellent home in a nice development. The house lays out nicely with a wonderful pool. It is 15-20 minutes by car or golf kart to the beach and restaurants. Only a few negative aspects. The biggest problem is that access to the house is, as of now, a mess with a long trek over some rough dirt, dusty roads. With the road conditions map apps will not always work for finding the house. So getting in and out of the area is a mess. The house was perfect except we needed hairdryers in the bathrooms and one of the doors to the house would not lock. That needs to be fixed. Overall it is a great place for a family vacation in the area. I recommend it.

Great house. A little issue with HVAC but they were very responsive. Concierge team was incredible and made the stay even better.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Acari. The house is an ideal setup for multiple families—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. The kids especially loved the bunk room. Dani, the concierge, was outstanding. She was incredibly prompt, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, making everything seamless from start to finish. The beach club was another highlight—we really enjoyed spending time there. The food was great and it was beautiful. One thing to note is that the location is fairly remote, so I’d definitely recommend renting a car for groceries and getting to local restaurants. Plan ahead for long drives to excursions and activities. Also, be mindful of ocean conditions—the rip tide can be strong, so it’s important to make sure a lifeguard is present before swimming, as that wasn’t consistent. Overall, we had an amazing trip and would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling with a group!

Amazing house in a great location!

We had an amazing stay at George's home. Natalia, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and responsive. We appreciated all the recommendations and help booking a private chef and catamaran boat tour. The daily house keeping was also a very nice touch. Internet and power cut out a bit while we were there but this seems typical in the area. We didn't mind and enjoyed being disconnected. If it's a concern for you, bring a star link!

We had a very nice stay at George’s home! There was plenty of room for a family of 6! The only problem was the kitchen does not have coffee, creamer and sugar available in the home. I think it would be nice to provide ! The hot water in master bedroom was on the cold side but the outdoor shower worked better. I do have to say the concierge service could be better at explaining more about the excursions that are set up for you. I had to go back and forth several times with questions as sometimes our drivers didn’t even know. All in all, we loved our stay and hope to come back to this area again!

Georges's home was truly impressive, exceeding our expectations in many ways. The property and its location suited our needs perfectly, with just a convenient 20-minute drive to Tamarindo for dinners and shopping. In addition, we enjoyed having access to the beach club and JW; although there was a small fee to use the pools at each club, it was a minor consideration for the overall experience. I would highly recommend this home for your next stay!

A must stay!!! Host is impeccable and Concierge services are immediate. Gorgeous property in a friendly secure community. An amazing peak into the true eco-system of Costa Rica. Couldn't have asked for more. Pura Vida!

We had a great time at George’s place Villa Acari. Neighborhood was gated with guard and community was gated with guard as well. House is set up very nice. Lots of space and bedrooms were more than accommodating with very comfortable beds. Pool was large enough to hang out with large group and the Sonos surround was perfect for listening to music. House was very clean and outside showers were very missed when got home. Dani and Natalia were always a message away and responded right away with lots of help and things to do. We did a catamaran one afternoon and zip line and atvs another. Surf box by marina in Potrero at catamaran brunch is a must. The beach club is nice to have access to and food there is good. I would avoid Marriott eatery’s ( slow service and not very good) and pool is very expensive for the day so not really worth it. Tamarindo is near by with lots to eat one of our favorites was dragonfly. 4wd is pretty much a must with roads going from paved to dirt without notice.

We stayed as a group of 6 adults and 9 kids ranging from 9-16 years old at George's home during March break. We booked the house the summer prior to arriving and were happy that we booked early to secure a nice spot. George and his team were responsive to all of my questions leading up to the trip - there was some confusion with who the concierge was at times due to staff changing so sometimes I did not get an immediate response but once those things got figured out we had no issues and during the trip the concierge team was excellent and helped us in any way we needed. The house was very much the same as pictured - things that could be improved would be to have screens on some of the doors and windows so we can open them and get fresh air without worrying about bugs getting in and also having some pool floatation devices so be able to float around in the pool. Other than that the house was wonderful and we would return again without a doubt. The beach club access was also awesome!

We loved the house and it worked well for our family of 14. It was exactly as described online and the pictures were an accurate representation. The concierge team was super helpful in booking excursions, transportation and in-house dining. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We had an incredible stay at George's villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by George and his team, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The villa itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, beautiful decor, and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The location is fantastic—peaceful and secluded, yet still close enough to the beaches and local souvenirs shops. We particularly enjoyed lounging by the pool and taking in the serene surroundings. George's team was attentive and responsive throughout our stay, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can't wait to return!

This place was outstanding! Great location, the beach club & Lola’s did not disappoint! Although we rarely needed, or wanted to leave the property & pool :) The concierge & owners were very helpful & communicative. Natalia, Jamie, & Maria are awesome! Reserva de Golf is a beautiful neighborhood, & we felt right at home, we’ll be back, Pura Vida!!
