Beautiful cabin atop the mountain up some dirt roads…we made it up okay with our 2WD SUV. I enjoyed staying here as we had privacy and could still get to town in 15 min. Judit was very responsive and left us coffee and jam which was lovely. The only note I have is if you are a light sleeper (like me) this may not be a good fit due to how exposed the cabin is to the wind.

Just perfect. Small, very well-designed, comfortable, and incredibly charming place to stay. The view and the wind make it a majestic experience, a total immersion in the mountains. Very well located to enjoy the activities of Monteverde, but we also can't wait to go back and just spend some time on the terrace enjoying the view of the surroundings. It was a memorable and relaxing stay.

The cabin was amazing. Sunrise views were incredible and the trails, paths and viewing tower nearby are so special. We enjoyed sunset on them every night. Clear instructions to find the cabin and it had everything we needed to explore the cloud forest during the day.

If you are looking for a peaceful place this is the accommodation you should pick. I loved the little hunt and terrace, even though it got a bit wind at times I didn't mind it. I even had a monkey stop by one morning. The private viewing point was close by and perfect for sunset. The drive can be a bit wild, but was doable with a 2x4 and some driving experience and absolutely worth it.

We stayed here for two nights and felt completely comfortable. The cabin is beautifully situated on a hillside, and we enjoyed the great view from the balcony twice each morning during breakfast. Cloud Forest, the night hike, and everything else are 15 minutes away by car, and in our opinion, getting there and the wind were not as problematic as others have described here. The cabin really has everything you need for a lovely stay; communication was flawless, and the hiking trails and the viewing platform are also truly uniquely beautiful. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special place to stay near Monteverde or Santa Elena.

This was just what we wanted - a secluded spot with great views. The lookout tower was great, particularly at sunset. The simple kitchen had everything we needed. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a great time at this beautiful home. The view was stunning and as others mentioned it is definitely a very windy location, which we didn’t mind and enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the strong winds. I would recommend this Airbnb is you want something not far from town but also very private.
