We didn't anticipate that booking on the harbour side was such a score, but because we weren't right on the beach there was no impact of the sargussum. The sunset viewing from this home is outstanding. Having bikes available was really nice as we biked to wherever we were going. We had a fantastic dinner at Doyle's, just a few homes down. easy access to get groceries and a veggie stand.

Clean and an easy check in process. The beach club membership was handy. Host was responsive when we did have questions.

Our family of 5 (kids ages 17, 15, and 11) loved staying here! The host reached out prior to our arrival to confirm a check in time and arrived promptly. The entire house was beautiful and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels were provided and the kitchen had everything necessary for cooking our own meals. The various outdoor areas allowed us to relax, enjoy sunshine or shade, and watch the sun setting in the distance. We used the Placencia sidewalk to walk to the Beach Club as well as fruit stands, supermarkets, and restaurants. Our host connected us with a local company for a snorkeling trip and the boat picked us up at the home’s private dock. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with our family- we would return without question!

This space was great for our family of 5. We enjoyed the upstairs room and private deck for adult time and the kids all did great on the main floor. The location is perfect and super walkable to all Placencia has to offer. Our fishing guide picked us up from our dock- so nice! The provided bikes were a nice amenity, as was the ability to use the beach resort and pool. The kitchen is super thin on anything more than basic utensils so if you plan to do any cooking you’ll need all oils, salt etc. All in all very happy with this spot!

Everything about the home was great but what really made our stay perfect was the roof top patio. Beautiful views and was very comfortable. The house is only a 5-10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. It also included access to the Placencia Beach Club which was nice. We are already planning a return trip.

From the time that we walked in, we realized this was a hidden gem. The house was spotless clean. It had everything needed for a few days stay. You can’t beat the location. Everything needed in town is within walking distance. Bikes are also provided. 10/10 for us!

Silver Leaf Villa is a beautiful place in a wonderful location.

Fantastic and relaxing visit to the Silver Leaf Villa. This place is in an ideal place close to the main street of Placencia and walkable (or by bikes provided by host) to all beaches and restaurants. The day passes provided by the host for the Placencia Bench Club become one of our favorite places to go which really adds to the amenities for those wondering about use of a pool. My wife and I appreciated the quiet surroundings that the villa and the neighborhood offered even though this was just a few minutes walk to the big bars and "night spots" of Placencia. We were there over Easter weekend which is a huge travel/party weekend and still found the area removed enough from the louder beach locations to maintain the tranquility.

This spectacular villa exceeded our expectations! Not only is it in a perfect location with easy and quick access to all Placencia has to offer, it is on the water enabling our snorkeling and fishing guides to pick us up from our own dock. The garden surrounding the villa is a tropical paradise with mango, cashew, coconut, and palm trees; and bougainvillea, orchids and other tropical flowers. With bicycles, snorkel gear, games and books provided, it was like our own mini-resort! The villa showcases awesome local art and the finest Belizean workmanship. We loved the stars in the great room and bright, beautiful tropical textiles. During our recent three week stay in Placencia, this was our third rental. It far exceeded the other two rentals in both quality and value. The property management team of Romina and Dora could not have been more helpful! Shanna was responsive and kind. Silver Leaf Villa is a treasure in Placencia! Definitely 5 stars on all counts!

Had a great time. Enjoyed the easy access for boat tours to be able to pick us up right from the property and enjoyed that we could easily walk to the grocery store and downtown.

We had a fantastic time in Placencia and this amazing home was a huge part of that! It is a beautiful space with wonderful details and craftsmanship. The grounds were idyllic and the mangos delicious! A big thanks to Romina who was extremely helpful throughout our stay!

Great house, centrally located on the canal/lagoon. We loved staying at Silver Reef! We were a group of 4, two couples, and it was plenty spacious. The house is conveniently located in town, near a grocery store (at the end of the street) and was very easy to walk or ride to dinner or town with the bikes provided in less than 5 minutes. We did a snorkel trip to Laughing Bird Caye with Eagle Ray Tours (highly recommend) and they picked us up dockside at the house, which was so convenient! The house was perfect to come back to and get directly dropped off after a long day in the sun. We loved hanging out by dock and on the rooftop for sunset for the amazing views. The owner and house manager are very nice,helpful and communicative. We will definitely stay at Silver Reef again when we visit Placencia!
